This was the exact brutal, beautiful conclusion I needed—and I’m literally in tears writing this. After that cliff hanger from Just Like Heaven pissed me off again, this book delivered on every ounce of pain, passion, and payoff I’d been holding my breath for.

Angelina Rocca and Connor Crais returned as Sutton and Calder with even more emotional grit and raw power. The way they voiced those five years of heartbreak, rage, and unresolved love? Soul Satisfying HEA. Fantastic Duet Narration!

Soul satisfying sigh…Sinning Like Hell was the hauntingly beautiful edge-of-your-seat conclusion to Sutton and Calder’s destined love story, and what a ride it was. This book picks up right where Just Like Heaven leaves off giving you immediate answers and hungry for more.

Angelina Rocca and Connor Crais once again perform this audiobook in duet narration and continue to put their heart and souls into these characters and this story. Angelina’s portrayal of sweet Sutton evolved and built towards a brave and steadfast Sutton never doubting her loyalty and love for Calder. Connor’s deep, enveloping timbre unleashed a guttural determination and constant persistence for Calder never making you doubt his love for Sutton. Plus, his Irish accent for Calder’s Uncle Connor, was so sinister and evil. Angelina and Connor created an undeniable longing for Sutton and Calder’s need for each other.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of an angsty, star crossed lovers romance with a courageous, passionate heroine, a protective man-on-a-mission hero, neglectful parents, promises made, steamy time good byes, journal writing, infiltrating the mafia, revenge, confessional reunions, a field of stars, taking down the enemy, more spice, love declarations, and a HEA that will baptize you in love, the you will fall hard for Sutton and Calder’s story. This one will stick with me for a while.

Amazing story! Modern day Romeo and Juliet!

Definitely read book one first, both are amazing. I’d recommend to anyone! I devoured both books within 36 hours!

Favorite Mafia Duet

I had to get it on audio. It was a must, no, a NEED. I read this duet when it first came out and loved it. And here we are today, I still love it just as much as I do when it first read it. Calder, that man… I love him so much! 😭 “If we only had tonight, would it all be worth it?” And Sutton, she’s so fierce. I love a strong FMC. GUYS!!!! Please read the book or audio. It’s worth every penny spent!

Superb writing + Perfect DUET narration = 5+☆!!

This review is for both books in the Star-Crossed series, Just Like Heaven & Sinning Like Hell. (I left a rating for book 1. Just Like Heaven, 5☆ for everything.)I ❤️ everything about this Romeo & Juliet inspired Irish mafia dark romance. Unlike Shakespeare's tragic tale, this does have a HEA. Calder and Sutton go through hell first though! This really is a beautifully crafted story. Book 1 ends w/ a cliffhanger, so have book 2 ready to go. You are not gonna be able to wait!
Thank you, Trilina Pucci, for making this audiobook, and for selecting Connor Crais to co-narrate (with Angelina Rocca). If not, I would probably have missed out on this wonderful story. (Nearly all of my reading is via audio, and the only audios I definitely buy & listen to are those that Crais narrates!) That said, the narration is excellent! There are so many different characters performed perfectly by Connor and Angelina. Of course I loved their portrayal of the MCs, but they were great at playing the villains, too! (And, there are plenty of them, including Sutton's parents, Hunter & his mom, & mafia leader, Connor O'Banion.) The story was suspenseful, emotional, and dramatic. And the ending of the story -- the look into Calder & Sutton's future -- was heartfelt, perfect, and as if it were written in the stars! 🌟
