Acerca de esta escucha

He’s gone behind enemy lines countless times before. But this time, he’s going alone.

Foster Quinn is more than a former Force Recon Marine. He’s a husband. A father. A faithful brother to his teammates. When one of them is killed during a high-risk operation to track down a dangerous arms dealer, Foster struggles to balance his roles as a dedicated family man and an elite warrior. Despite his inner demons―or maybe because of them―Foster can’t walk away from his brothers.

Then he gets the chance to step in where his best friend left off, assuming a cover identity in Iran that will get him close to the arms dealer and pave the way for a critical mission. On his own in a new country, he must carefully choose who to trust. An Iranian taxi driver. An American hunter. A British oil executive. One wrong move could spell disaster. Not just for the mission, but for Foster.

The clock is ticking. A team of tier-one warriors is set to plummet through the night sky in enemy territory. They’ve trained for this. But their success hinges on just one man.

From former Force Recon Marine Chad Robichaux and Navy TOPGUN fighter pilot Jack Stewart comes the first book in a thrilling new series that gives listeners a pulse-pounding glimpse into the clandestine side of special operations.

This book feels so genuine with the way it portrays our military. Foster Quinn is not like some book heroes who wins every fight, outsmarts every bad guy, or always has everything go according to plan. Foster Quinn is a God loving American that believes in family values and in our country. I admire his strength in will, his determination, and his loyalty to uphold our country’s core beliefs as stated in The United States Constitution. With our country in turmoil it was refreshing to read about true patriotism. This is a must read for anyone who loves a good whodunnit inside a military thriller. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The narration is by Ray Porter… do I need to say more? Brilliant!

Can you combine a murder mystery with a military thriller? Silent Horizons does and it does it brilliantly!

I expected a great military thriller because of Jack Stewart’s brilliantly written Battle Born Series. He did not disappoint. Much like authors Andrew’s and Wilson you cannot tell who wrote what. The story starts a little slow but most is the groundwork for I hope is a continuing series. Lots of action and a holy crap, unexpected bad guy. You must read to find out. What can you say about Ray Porter. He makes stories better and more enjoyable.

A great start to a series

Silent Horizons by Chad Robichaux and Jack Stewart is the first book in a new series that introduces Foster Quinn, a former Force Recon Marine juggling the roles of husband, dad, and covert operator. When a teammate falls trackin’ a shady arms dealer, Foster embarks on a solo mission in Iran, posing as someone else to thwart a weapons deal. This highstakes thriller keeps my pulse racin’ and my faith stirred, leaving me eager to discover what unfolds next.

Foster’s adventure is a thrilling rush, as he navigates the dangerous streets of Tehran, making tough decisions about who to trust, an Iranian cabbie, an American hunter, and a British executive, all while a team of elite warriors relies on him to pull through. Robichaux and Stewart, both seasoned veterans with a deep understanding of the military, weave a raw and realistic story that is filled with heart pounding action and a sense of brotherhood that feels like family. The faith element, Foster’s journey of self discovery and his reliance on God through his struggles, lands deeply, resonating with the themes of faith and community that I find meaningful. It even sparked my curiosity about the realworld toll of covert operations, leading me down a rabbit hole of exploration into the world of special forces life.

Silent Horizons concludes with a powerful impact, leaving you pondering the implications of its message. It embodies grit, soul, and a nod to freedom that I deeply appreciate. The book skillfully balances the mission driven plot with Foster’s unwavering devotion to his family, making it more than just a shoot ‘em up. If you’re a fan of thrillers with a faith driven core, this book is a gem that offers an immersive and thought-provoking reading experience. I am grateful for a story that is as authentic as it is thrilling.

My wife and I decided to listen to this audio book. We planned to listen for around four hours then finish it the next day. We started listening and couldn’t find a place in the story to pause. This book was captivating from start to finish. Chad choosing Ray Porter as the reader was an excellent choice. Ray has the talent to bring all of the characters to life if in the mind of the listener. I’ve been a fan since listening to all of Jack Carr’s books on audio. This is an outstanding story read by the best!
