Sweet Forbidden Romance, QB & His Tutor/Friend

Bo and Chelsea's book was a sweet college forbidden romance between the #1 draft pick quarterback and the tutor who he has a crush on. She is best friends/roommates with his roommates/friends girl friend.

They are friends, but Bo is naturally quiet and such a sweetie in this book. He acted shy around Chelsea in the beginning, not knowing how to approach her about becoming his tutor for a class he should have taken freshman year, but got missed somehow and now he's struggling some.

Besides hellos and goodbyes at his house, these two normally are quiet around each other, but often times looking or even staring at the other one when they aren't looking. Chelsea has a crush on Bo as well.

This book goes from 1 tutor session to Bo asking her out, and openly flirting with her. I enjoyed how easily these two just fit together, and once they started it never stopped. Well, until the 3rd act when Bo's father tells him about Chelsea's past and telling him to not date her, again for like the 4th time. This hurt Chelsea when she found out right after meeting Bo's family for the first time, and caused her to run even though Bo stood up to his dad over her.

This two both have issues when it comes to family. While Bo's father is a judge in CA, and a big political one, Bo is used to being in the headlines/spotlight and doing everything he's told by his father. Well, until Chelsea. Her past is one of pain, and tragedy that also put her and her family in the news as well. But not for good reasons. She has ran far from her past in FL to start a new life and becoming a lawyer to help children just like she was in the court system.

This couple had a lot of chemistry, and I really enjoyed the spicy moments in this book. I really enjoyed the library scene, and then the shower one 🥵🥵 all in the same chapter. But not only the heat. I enjoyed how these two just naturally fit. This book was a really sweet and true romance.

I am really excited for Silas and Brooke's story next on audiobook. I have read this entire series as part of Ava's arc team. To be honest I didn't think anything could beat Archie's book, Zone Protection, but Silas's book, Lockdown Corner, really surpassed Archie's and blew this whole series out the park. Really becoming my favorite book. Silas' story will really shock you on the kind of man he is. I need a date for the audiobook!!!

This series can all be read as standalones, but if you want the full experience, I recommend reading them all in order. Because every single character in this series is on or mentioned in every single book. Making this series a true found family.

Narrators Brandon Francis and Andi Eloise did fantastic narrating this book. I enjoyed this pair together. Brandon's voice is so nice sounding. He can change is voice nicely for different characters. He's not my favorite male narrator, but I enjoy the tone of his voice. It almost sounds like he hasn't been narrating long compared to others. I have one other book he narrated by Brandy Hynes, a dark romance, and he killed it in that book. This was just a little different for me, but still enjoyable.

Andi has a nice, soft yet mature sounding voice and it matched perfectly for Chelsea's character. I enjoy audiobooks she narrates, and look forward to seeing what she does in future books.
