Sweet story
This is not a mystery. It’s a short, sweet story about the characters. It helps to have read other books in the series, but it’s not necessary. I had some issues with the narrator. I didn’t like the way she did the other voices. Personal preference.

Melody has just helped an old friend, Scott, to solve a case. They are headed back to the station to let the woman he'd arrested for the murder out. Melody, being the inquisitive person she is, starts to ask Scott why he'd returned. He's reluctant to tell her. She finally suggests they go to dinner and he can sort it out for her. Another mystery to unearth and maybe a new start for her and Scott.
Stephanie Quinn's voice is a wonder to listen to as she weaves the story to it's end.

cute
this is a cute short story about a private detective her interactions with a police detective. I really liked the storyline, but it felt like I was missing no beginning and an end, since this is clearly part of a series. I would definitely recommend listening to these stories in order.

Entertaining and cozzy
Melody Clue was thrilled when Detective Scott Webster returned to Majestic Cove. Does she dare open herself up to the possibility of a relationship with Scott? Or is he destined to leave again?
The story is well written and kept my attention. Narrator Stephanie Quinn did a good job and I enjoyed her performance although I did feel that her male voice let her down a bit, but then that is just my opinion.
I liked the characters of Melody and Scott, the story is entertaining and I was invested from start to finish.

Was nice to listen to the the next secrets, did find that the ending very abruptly, would have been nice to have a bit more to the story. Looking forward to my in this series. The narration was good.

Her old beau has come back to town and they have just solved a murder. But why did he leave in the first place and why did he come back? That is the new mystery and she wants it solved.
