Acerca de esta escucha
General U.S. Grant and General Sherman are caught off guard by the entire Confederate Army, with their backs to the Tennessee River! Confederate General Johnston's plan was to attack Grant's left and separate the Union army from its gunboat support (and avenue of retreat) on the Tennessee River, driving it west into the swamps of Snake and Owl Creeks, where it could be destroyed. The two-day battle of Shiloh, the costliest in American history up to that time, resulted in the defeat of the Confederate army and frustration of General Johnston's plans to prevent the joining of the two Union armies in Tennessee. An action packed adventure based totally on fact from the award winning Colonial Radio Theatre.

From the journal of William Bradford, this audio production dramatizes the trials and tribulations of the Pilgrims and the events that lead up to their sailing from Southampton, England in the year 1620. "Jerry Robbins and the Colonial Radio Players bring to life the persecution and betrayals of the Puritans, while still in Europe, that compelled their flight to the New World. [It] is historically correct, and remains both exciting and fun. This audio presentation has a full cast and music score, with lots of sound effects, engaging your attention and imagination." Here is the story of that battle, dramatized for audio by the award-winning Colonial Radio Theatre. Radio drama about the battle of shiloh
a short reenactment of the Battle of Shiloh many facets of the battle of a missing and left me a little wanting. I felt more confused after listening to this then I have reading books about the Battle. I understand they had a shortage of time and had to get everything in but I would probably skip this if you were trying to learn about the Battle of Shiloh.

Just Okay
The biggest problem, even someone who is well-versed in the era, is figuring out who each voice belongs to. Unless it's Grant, it's near impossible to figure out who is who because most of the actors are just voices without a name.
Beyond that, my issues are minor and pedantic.
