Good story

Well developed characters, interesting plot line with twists,
Set in Native American communities I hope are accurate

I could smell the sage and feel the heat of the sun in these pages

What a wonderful story! I went to Mesa Verde twice, first as an adolescent when it touched my soul with its deeply spiritual aura. This story took me back there in a different time and thru the eyes of the characters. Thank you!

wonderful story

I read these books back in high-school. I was excited to find these books on Prime. I absolutely despise the narrator, her voice and inflection while reading. Had I paid for this, I'd be requesting a refund.

Historical Romance

In this instance, the female protagonist evolved into a strong character. I enjoyed the background history since it dealt with a very elusive area of America's past. The romance part didn't overwhelm the story and I found myself eager to return to it whenever I had some spare time. I would likely listen to the follow up stories, or at least the ones which deal with this set of characters.

Excellent story

Are usually do not write books. This was one of the best books I have read or listen to in a very long time. It held my interest it taught me things I did not know and it made me feel involved as if I were living with this girl.
