Bureaucracy is hard enough without a looming apocalypse.

As the newly elected Ruler of Nam’Dal, Momo thought dealing with paperwork – and overcoming her fear of public speaking – would be her biggest issues. But when whispers emerge around the resurfacing of an ancient artifact powerful enough to unravel the universe, every power-hungry person in Alois wants their hands on it.

Naturally, the gods don’t plan to wait around and see which of their disciples will win this rat race. Momo will face Kyros’s opposition at every turn.

But as she unravels the history behind the conflict that startled it all, Momo’s ideas of who is on the right side of this war, and who is on the wrong……might not remain so black and white.

Dive into Book 2 of this lighthearted and humorous (but epic!) isekai LitRPG, with a vivid world full of characters for Momo to meet, battle, bemuse, and most importantly—bring back from the dead.

Momo is back! She’s now the ruler of a city with all its headaches. She has the super righteous coming to stop her while the universe tries to fall apart. She goes on a quest to find a stone that will let her change the rules and save the universe. She takes down governments, frees prisoners, and raises demigods. Just a normal day for Momo.

Fun story. Great pacing. Wonderful narrator. please enjoy

It was a long wait, but it was sure worth it. I really enjoy the light, campy nature of this series (although the parchment courier gag is a bit much). Momo is such a fun, lovable character and I'm happy she is starting to come out of her shell a bit.

I think we have a new narrator for this book. While I would have preferred to keep the old one, this new one still did a wonderful job (apart from mispronouncing a few words, which was jarring).

Let hope we get even mo Momo soon!

Finally, We Get Mo Momo

I feel like with this book made a great step forward with Momo. Not only did we get past Momo's horrible hobbit of the first book of constantly putting herself down and whining repeatedly. She's confident moving forward in her new world and making decisions! We get to see the what I call the Real Momo not the one that hides from the world.

In this book the goal of the Necros' and Morgana progress forward as we get a little bit more information on how everything came into being. How the Gods became the Gods, how the world and rules were created. Momo as a Mayor as she learns and yes even a dragon makes an appearance. This book was a fun little adventure from Town Management to Sea Side Haggling to Gladiator Death matches hosted by Octopuses. Oh I almost forgot the most important part' Our lovely little Necromancer actually has a love interest! Sure she has a very hard time confessing it but it is soooo obvious that she's got a crush and she's constantly flirting that even her companions give her a hard time about it! I hope to see this relationship actually develop into something! Because I actually feel like they are good for each other. Momo is willing to take the chances and her partner (sorry hiding this detail to surprise everybody) is willing to use rational to Balance Momo and help her along.

The only reason I don't give the story a full 5 stars, is I feel that it left out some important but pertinent information regarding the Excalibur's along with Momo being able to complete her quest by talking to Velorika; we also never get back to touching base on what the final outcome of Dragon Mountain was ( I feel this belong in the ending prologue), I also think a little more information on how the ending came to be should be touched on. By that I mean what did the people say or do after learning about the actions of the King and the non-actions of the Prince? Just little things to tie up the book that I felt were needed

I wish these books would come out faster into Audio Format though because the Narrator does an excellent job with these books bringing everybody to life. She deserves the full 5 stars for her performance and making it so believable. Here's to more adventures of Momo and her hopefully forever partner in crime!

Excellent Step forward

than the 1st! This just took the #1 spot on my fav LITRPG. Reminds me of Sir Terry Pratchett and there is no higher bar. My only complaint is the reader adds syllables to certain words - ba-lood for blood, etc. It's not a character quirk and it didn't detract from the tale. Otherwise, great job to writer and reader.

Even better
