Loving this story

Laughter to love to tears and heartbreak. Cole, Lexie, Kaylia, Sahira, Orin, Varo, Del and so many more characters that I have come to adore. Can't wait to start the 6th book! So, glad I happened upon this series!

Brenda never fails

I love the way Ms. Davis writes her stories. I hate cliff hangers but I love her writing !

Entire Book prep for war

This was so boring! I've been waiting and waiting for this next book to come out, and I'm pretty disappointed. I love this story, and the narrator is amazing 👏 BUT, this entire book is pretty much just recruiting and preparing for the war with "The Lord." With like 1 or 2 tidbits of Lexy learning that new powers about herself. I still have 2 hours left, but this is painful.
Now done, last about 2 hours was the war and now we're gonna have to wait again for an entire 7-9hour book on how to get Cole back to normal along with the rest of our characters after the war and Lexy getting used to ruling.
I do very much like this story. I just feel like it didn't need to be so many books. I won't give up on this story cause the first few books were amazing, and I'm invested now and our reader/narrator definitely makes up for it.

Excellent series

This is an excellent series full of battle, adventure, love and loss. I can’t wait for the next book!

Is there another book? Is there a HEA? I’m not prepared for the story to end. Ms. Davies, I can’t stomach the idea that it’s over. I WANT my HEA.

Obsessed with this series

I loved everything about it, and I can’t wait for the next book! Highly recommend this series.

Fantastic

This series gets better with every book. Meg price is exceptional narrator. Davies knows how to build a bad guy. And even better just when you think you git your bad guy you realize you get something much worse

Paid by the word

I enjoy this series, and have endured the droning on and on unnecessarily. It can take 3 chapters to get to a point that should take a paragraph. It’s aggravating and this installment is the worst of them all. I’m honestly not sure I can endure the next book. The story is cliche AF… but, here I am still listening 🤣
Update: I couldn’t finish the book. It just got worse as it went on. I am relieved to say that I won’t be moving on to the next installment. If anyone is looking for the most epic romantic fantasy series, I recommend Jennifer Armentrout’s Blood and Ash series.

Eh not the best but not the worst

I feel like many of the characters didn’t really have a personality. I didn’t feel attached or really cared about the outcome. It’s very plot driven. As with a couple of the prior books it feels like there was a lot of no you can’t go, I have to keep you safe, I’m going I need to keep you safe. And gets kind of old but I just skipped over some of that dialog. I love the narrator.
