Publisher's summary

Violet Archer's world is crumbling down around her. She's discovering things she never knew, and there's still more to come. Determined as she is, she's rolling with the punches and knocking out a few of her own.

She's finding herself in the middle of, well, quite a few things. And as deeply tangled as she is with two very powerful men, she can't just walk away from either.

She's also carrying a heavy burden, with the weight of two warring races on her shoulders, a prophecy to fulfill, and an item she must procure for the god of death.

And none of it will be easy.

Violet is going to have to make her way through some very dark places if there is any chance of finding the light.

The Shadow Series is an epic fantasy and adult paranormal romance adventure set. Follow Violet's story as it continues in the third book of the series.

Warning: This is a novel for adults. Contains mature and explicit content. Advisory warning for those with sensitivities or to issues regarding mental health and well-being.

Best of the three

I bought all four. I was starting to feel as if I had made a mistake. This one seems to answer so many questions.

Loving this series!

Book three was just as good a the first two.

This one starts off at the tree with Zagan where the first book ended. In this book she finds out the truth about herself, her family, and the prophecy.

Was hoping it would get better

Several reviews said that the first book was their least favorite but to keep going. After listening to books 2 and 3, I won’t be moving on to the fourth. The actions of the characters in book one don’t match what happens in book 2, and book three was a major drag. I couldn’t take the “you need to leave but I won’t let you leave” anymore. The main character was all over the place. She keeps saying she can take care of herself but is constantly needing to be rescued. There’s no real foundation or connection between the different love interests other than some inherent need to be with each other. Yuck.
