What a ride!
I *really* disliked the first book in this series, and it was only because of the reviews on Amazon that I continued with the second book in the series. It was definitely worth it. As other reviews have stated, the storyline is not predictable, and it’s a fast-paced, engaging story once you get into it. The end the world building was good, character development was good too.
The narrator did a good job with most of the voices, but there are some words she pronounces wrong and I found it distracting.

Wow! Reading and listening to this series has been a fantastic experience. The storyline is unique with just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat!

I enjoyed this series
The two main characters gave Tarzan and Jane vibes. The banter between them was sweet. The side characters were fun too. I’m surprised they don’t have their own books yet. A few plot holes were in the storyline, but nothing too serious.
