Publisher's Summary

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon returns with Shadow Fallen, a brand-new entry to her Dream-Hunter series

For centuries, Ariel has fought the forces of evil and her task was to protect the souls of innocent mortals when they die. Captured by a powerful sorceress, she is transformed into the body of a human who has no memory of her real life or calling.

And is plunked into the middle of the invasion of England by the Norman Empire.

Cursed the moment he was born with a "demonic deformity", Valteri wants nothing of this earth except to depart it and will do his duty to his king until then. A strange noblewoman is found and brought before him, and Valteri knows he has met her before...but only in his dreams. And when others come for her and bring with them preternatural predators, he is faced with a destiny he had no idea was waiting. And one he wants no part of.

For the truth is that he isn’t just a knight of William the Conqueror. He is the son of one of the deadliest powers in existence, and if he doesn’t restore Ariel to her place, she is not the only one in peril. The world itself hangs in the balance, and he is the necessary key to hold back the powers of evil. But only if he can find a way to work with the woman who stands for everything in the universe he hates.

All hail the McQueen! May your MUSE continue to guide your imagination and inspire your blessed talented creativity to tell st!!

I had the honor of meeting Sherri at comic con, and found she was a hero to me. Not only is she kind and caring, she inspired me on a personal level with my own writing.
The best part was reading her stories since the 90’s is what inspired my path in life to become a writer!!
The point is here is the newest book, and I swear, I feel like I’m back in the 90’s, standing there in Barnes and Noble, a lady bumps into me apologizes, and I’m like that must be a really good book, we laughed and she told me it was a series by this amazing author, that she got hooked on by her sister.
She tells me this story and I’m totally captivated, She takes me to this section and from that moment I started reading and found an hour had passed and I didn’t even realize it. I was hooked, and here it’s 2022 and your talented storytelling continues to excite me, my heart, my mind, when you have talent you have talent!!! You my Lady you are one of a kind!!!
Thanks for sharing your imagination and talent to write stories that take my breath away!!!
😘 you ROCK!!! Bless you!!!

The Saga continues

Hooray the Queen is back, and is the same as always. Exciting storyline, and leading us deeper into the coming battle.
Also she is leading us to one of my favorite characters Jayden, so excited to hear his story.
Also happy that Fred B narrated this story.

Another Great One!

Sherrilyn has never written anything I haven't liked! Most of her stories I've loved! Other than wishing this had a little more butt-kicking and some people not getting as much as I thought they deserved (one friar in particular), I loved this book! I loved the narrator as well...I always do because he does a tremendous job! I highly recommend this book!

TSTL heroine and redundant

This h was beyond tstl. I don't even want to list all the ways in which she was a dumb shit because it'll just irritate the hell out of me.

The story could've been awesome, but was the most redundant book in the series. The same information over and over and over as filler. Just shave 100 pages off.

It was decent but frustrating

They know who the villains are the entire book and just let then keep living with them. Like they all know who eachother are. good guys know who bad guys are bad guys know they know and they all just keep beefin living in the same house. Like at no point did it occur to them, to idk....kick the demon and witch who cursed you out?! Not a single time did that thought cross anyone's mind?
