I can't keep up!!!

This story hopped around so much I needed a pencil and piece of paper to keep up. I still have no idea how it was all connected. Lost me before I could figure it out. Did not finish the first third of the story.

He Never Disappoints!

Another great story from Charles Martin! Great characters, great story line. from Chasing Fireflies to now, I always know I get a tear in my eye and a new perspective on something. Thanks, Mr. Martin. Keep up the great work!!

Great Read!

I've always enjoyed all of Charles Martin's books and I think Send Down the Rain is the best yet. Wonderful characters. A book you just don't want to put down.

Another fantastic book by Charles Martin

This is a mesmerizing novel that is exquisite from beginning to end. He is in my list of top 3 authors. A lot of depth and heart in his writing. Congratulations to Mr Martin for this fine book.

Bravo bravo

Excellent as always. Every Charles Martin I listen to I am once again blown away by the adventure, mystery and love. And hate when they end. I just want to start all over again and wisp away in thought.

Charles Martin never disappoints!

This story took me back to my childhood. I cried for all those who served, died, lost the respect of this country. I hate war, who doesn't? Charles paints such a beautifully painful picture of what so many suffered and perhaps survived through and after Viet Nam. I thank God for your gift that you continue to share with us.

Delicately woven story

Martin writes here with great balance much as an adroit preacher uses a sermon to instruct and challenge without making one feel preached to. I particularly enjoy that the suspense he creates isn’t predicated on violence or sex. Adam Verner’s pace and intonation let me sink into the characters. He does women’s voices well enough that it isn’t distracting.

Loved everything about this book!

One of my favorite books of the summer. Love Adam Verner he has such an easy voice, could listen to him forever ;-)

Superb narration

An excellent story made even better by the superb narration. A Charles Martin fan, this is one of his best - although all are good. Now need to find my next listen! You can’t go wrong with this one.

Tears Again

Charles Martin did is again in Send Down the Rain. What a heart wrenching story. I found myself wiping tears from my face.
Adam Verner is an outstanding reader. I love his voice and he brings the characters to life.
