Love and the tensions we manage

Martin captures in abundant passion and detail the way that love works its way into the fiber of our soul and our communities. So many tensions of good versus evil, and he weaves his story around the things that matter most even if it means, you have to break the rules. Few wrap things together and yet keep so many different storylines running as well as Charles. Definitely a worthy read.

Charles Martin has captivated me with his writing. This is my second book of his and I can't get enough. Leaving now to start the third one.

Sad but very heart warming. It was one of our favorite CM books. This book would be helpful if you were experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Live life to the fullest!

This story is a little different from Charles Martin's other books, but it is still an adventure worth taking. Pride is one's downfall, but love covers a multitude of sins. Enter the lives of Abby, Doss, and her senator Father.

loved it highly recommend Charlie Martin never disappoints. Reader performance excellent story was heartwrenching

still love the writing style

although it was difficult to keep up with at times going from the past to the current day, especially when listening to intermittently, I still enjoyed the writing style and plan to listen to this author more

I like the books where you can climb in and stay awhile, This is one of those. It’s one where the characters are people you’d be happy to call your friends and their hurts and smiles become yours too. Touching story.
