Its great

Very practical strategies to develop self discipline. downloaded the blueprint but wish it included a summary of all the tactics listed. it's currently incomplete. thank you the author for the great book and strategies!

This is truly excellent.

Love this one

This book was exactly what I needed to inspire me to work on my self-discipline. One suggestion that I have would be to include further listening resources for some subjects; such as after briefly explaining meditation, including suggested listening on this subject would be very beneficial.

self drive is always important.

if u want to get anywhere in life, you need to have enough drive to know what u want and how to get it. nothing is given to u on a silver platter anymore.

I loved it!

It gives great and easy examples to try out to see what works best for people. Gave me great motivation to continue to do my best and continue to better myself. It's a great starter book to develop discipline or even a great supplement book to better your discipline.

self discipline

I have just finished the first book, self discipline. I found it really good. At first I was skeptical but the narrator had an interesting voice. The content was great. I enjoyed the bit about the comfort zone and details of how the brain works. The ending of self compassion and forgiveness was excellent. A nice addition to my library.

Take Control Of Your Inner Self.

I have had social anxiety for several decades for which I have sought lots of professional treatment. This bundle of two books encapsulated just about everything I had learned over the past decades. The structured approach makes understanding the information easy, logical and the very informative explanations give a high degree of confidence. This is a no nonsense approach based on the best research and what actually works. Use as a guide and reference. Highly recommended.

A cheaper way to experience two helpful audiobooks

I've listened to these both individually and have recommended them to people, but will now be telling those family and friends to go for this version because they can get it all packaged nicely as one audiobook. The narrators are easy to understand, and the content of the two books really helps you rethink your life.

Putting these together was a great idea.

SELF-DISCIPLINE
Before reading this book I, like most people, confused motivation with self discipline. I associated self self discipline with monks and religious/military leaders... wrong!!! This books shows that it is in fact a skill that can be learned by anyone, and once you possess this skill you can use it to improve so many things in your life. Your ability to be more successful in everything from your career, to sticking to that diet. Nobody is born with self discipline. Basically this book explains how it is simply a habit that starts with appreciating what you have and recognising your goals. Focus is so important. These are things we should all be doing anyway.

SELF-COMPASSION
After finishing this book I immediately thought of friends and family that would benefit from reading it. We all know someone who mentally or emotionally beat themselves up for no reason at all. Often this is displayed in negative behaviour, everything from feeling they don't meet up to others expectations, or simply look in the mirror and see something different to what everyone else sees. The book explains how self compassion isn't about vanity, it's all about self respect and self love. Self acceptance being the first step.
