Lainey’s normal, bookworm life no longer exists. With her family murdered by the Master, she joins forces with a group of Supernatural rebels. Amazing ending to the duology!

I read KEEPER when it first came out, so I jumped at the chance to find out what happens next! Amazing performance by these narrators, and an exciting ending to the duet! I just love these characters and this audio just brought them all to life!

Loved it ❤️

I really enjoyed Keeper, but I LOVED Seeker. Kim Chance did a wonderful job with multiple POVs. Her writing style is very easy to read and get absorbed in. Her descriptions are on point and her character development is great! There was one particular scene that RIPPED MY HEART OUT, but I won’t spoil anything. I also enjoyed a new ship 😍 If you liked Keeper, You will LOVE Keeper!

I really loved the actors in this audiobook as well. All of them were awesome, but the woman playing Maggie was my fav.

Shallow, cliche and just uninspired

I should have trusted my instincts and stopped after book 1. Where to begin with all the nonsense plots? The person from book 1 that betrayed the good guys flipflops constantly… and both sides fall for the ridiculous justifications (could Pip convince Sauron that he and Merry are double agents? That’s a no). There’s still secrets kept for no reason and revealed with no emotional punch (Sadly, no “Luke, I am your father” shocker). And the war plan? Ugh, I haven’t seen a climactic battle that cringe since Twilight.

I wouldn’t call this YA; this is a book suited for tweens who’ll relate to Lainey, being told they’re at war and she needs to stay within the fortress, slipping out to go cruising with her BFF. The romance is likewise juvenile (although thankfully it never goes past blushing at him/her coming out of the shower in a towel, so at least there’s no cringe worthy sex). The best thing about this book is BFF Maggie, whose pop culture geekdom provided the only personality to this forgettable story.
