Publisher's Summary

"Did you have relations with my brother?"

Good question.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.

My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.

But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office; I've been coerced into participating in the teacher's badminton league; and I've instigated passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education and decorum while losing my underwear at the same time.

Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.

Loved it!

Want to know the theme song to this book? Hot and Cold by Katy Perry. I swear Arlo gave me so much whiplash that I spent the majority of the book hating his guts! But then out of no where the grumpy bastard had my heart. How dare he!!

Listen, I’m gonna let you guys in on little secret...I don’t listen to romance audiobooks, only thrillers and horror books and literary fiction. For some reason I thought I’d pop my audio romance cherry, so to speak, and wow! I’ve obviously missed out on a bunch. Zachary Webber, um can one fall in love with a voice? The female narrator, Erin, was superb. I may or may not have gotten a bunch of Mr. Webber’s backlog... LOL.

Anyways, I loved this book so much. I was left in stitches and I can’t tell you how much I needed that. I’m gonna let you in on another secret. While I have all of Ms. Quinn’s books, I actually haven’t gotten around to reading them. So all the characters, like the baseball players from other books (like Jason Orson), yeahhhhh, I’ve moved her up on my TBR. She’s good for the soul.

So the story is about Greer and Arlo, who are both English teachers at their high school. Greer is all sunshine and laughs—I loved her immediately! Then we got Arlo...grumpy and snooty. And let’s not forget he has an immediate “dislike” for our girl. To the point where he insults her and is just a big ole jerk! It’s okay though because Greer takes it all in stride because she’s badass like that.

Obviously, ole boy can’t help but cave when it comes to our sassy heroine. But honestly, all I could think about was “damn, why didn’t I marry an English teacher?”

Overall, I love romance. If you do too, then this book is for you. Lol.

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

My favorite thing about this book was Greer, the main character and her group of friends. She was such a fun character and I loved her playful nature. The way she interacted with the group, no matter how quirky some of her new friends are she just goes with the flow. Arlo, her love interest was a hard character for me to like. He was a complete snobby jerk for 1/2 this book and I struggled to get on board with his abrupt personality change. I need a jerk to still show a softer side so when we finally shows the lovable side it is believable and his 180 was a little rough. That is not to say I didn't like him because I loved him as the Jerk and I loved him as the good guy it was just the transition I had a hard time with. I also have to give kudos to the P & P references and the grand gesture because I am a huge fan of P & P and especially the Keira Knightly version of the movie. Besides the main characters, this book has the funniest, weirdest side characters. Without all of their friends I'm not sure I would have enjoyed this book as much as I did. I would love more books about their friends.

The narration was perfect, I mean Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon... perfection!

A sweet and sexy work place, enemies to lovers romance!

This was a sweet and steamy enemies to lovers work place romance!
The crazy shenanigans, pranks and humor was captured so authentically.

Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber were absolutely perfect in bringing Greer and Arlo to life.
Their audio delivery and narration was fun, enjoyable and so very engaging.

The writing was hilarious, quirky and entertaining and the characters were likeable and well fleshed out.

If you want to enjoy a sweet and fluffy light hearted listen with fun banter and which is low on the angst and a feel good listen overall. Don't hesitate to pick this one up.

Not my fave story. But Erin and Zach are perfect!

Erin Mallon is witty and quick and hot. Anyone who doesn’t love her, I just don’t get. I think Andy Arndt is good, but Erin gets negative reviews and is less sappy and dramatic and overly emotional. I prefer Erin in almost every role. Zachary Webber is almost the only male role I’ll entertain. He’s AMAZING. Always sexy and pitch perfect. Can anyone intake a breath audibly and make it sound more erotic? No, I think not. This book was meh, but I love this combo of narration.

Immaturity, Lack of Self Respect, and Truly Ignorant Behavior

I made it almost halfway before quitting. Almost. And I quit because I no longer liked either of the two main characters at all. She is joking to her boss that their book club aren’t really “in heat” and then proceeds to listen to H humiliate her in front of said boss before she stomps off mad. That mad sticks around for as long as it takes her to beg him to eat her out on her desk. Yeah, in heat sounds about right. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure someone somewhere finds this hot - it’s just absolutely not me. I think by that chapter I wished someone else would slap them both. This is just the cherry on the immaturity sundae though. The pranks? Something high school freshmen would do. Not teachers. Especially not teachers involving their students (the assembly, the stink bomb).

I like Meghan Quinn. I like some of her other books. But this one is just a nope.

Terrible!! Just terrible!!!

No. I can't! I can't!
This is one of the worst books I've ever read!
I love this trope, being a teacher myself, but it is clear to me that the author has never been in front of a classroom and she is probably fifteen!
There is NO WAY that a teacher, no matter how new she is, begins a prank war with her superior! No way. You might hate the other teachers, but you don't do that! You do not disrespect them without expecting the students to disrespect EVERYBODY at that school.
The h is unbearable! If you want to teach a lesson to an idiot who critizes your techniques, you prove him wrong with RESULTS, not with stink bombs and faulty microphones!
Ugh! I can't even write a proper review, Im that annoyed.
I want my credit back!

See Me After Class

"I want something sweet. Something naughty. Something that rocks my word and changes the colors around me. I want . . . love."

See Me After Class is a workplace romantic comedy about a grumpy teacher who follows the rules and a teacher that tries to bring fun to the classroom.

Arlo and Greer are the total opposite types of teachers. He is arrogant and grumpy and believes in making the students somewhat fear his class whereas Greer is the fun-loving teacher who likes to make learning fun for her students. After butting heads right from the beginning during her interview, Greer is determined to make Arlo lighten up.

For the most part, I enjoyed the story and did laugh out loud a few times. I found myself a little more interested in the side characters and the pranks than the main characters. Arlo was a little too stuffy for me until he finally gave in to his attraction to Greer. I look forward to the next Meghan Quinn book.

Audio: Zachary Weber and Erin Mallon did a great job bringing the story to life.

Loved it!!!

See Me After class is an enemies to lovers romance that I couldn’t get enough of. Talk about two people who couldn’t be more opposite and explosive when they’re together. Greer is a fun loving new English teacher with a zest for life and new and innovative ways to teach. Arlo is an AP English teacher who is so by the book it’s painful. Needless to say, these two don’t hit it off.

This book is fun! I was rolling with laughter at all the ways Greer managed to get under his skin, one prank at a time with the help of her new friends, which also happen to be his. This group of friends will keep you entertained!

The more Arlo and Greer are around each other, the more the chemistry sparks and they can’t deny or fight their attraction. What happens when they finally stop fighting and fall, will make you swoon and then scream in frustration and irritation wondering Why. Just hang tight and prepare to fall.

Narration by Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon was fantastic!!

See me after class

My favorite thing about this book were the characters they were realistic, funny and definitely unique. The story was a little touch and go in kind of long. The dilemma about the different teaching styles. It was really interesting and I liked it. Some of the scenes were a little too much or inappropriate such as the classroom 16th but I guess it was an OK book overall not sure if I’ll read anymore by this author.

not my style book

virtually no smiles here. I spent most of the book feeling bad for the Hero. Pretty much everyone in the book ganged up on him. He was trying to protect his school and help the kids and his sister. The ppl he called his friends and his family were awful to him. little about this book was redeeming. Truly wish I hadn't listened.

Light and enjoyable

Very funny. I loved the pranks and the link to Pride and Prejudice. Zachary Webber is brilliant, as always, but I didn't like Erin Mallon's performance as much. At times she spoke like there were no commas at all. It's probably easier for Americans to understand the way she spoke. I got used to it eventually.

A fantastic Rom Com with unexpected steam!

I read the Ebook of See Me After Class prior to listening to the audiobook and it was one of my favourite Rom Com reads of 2020. So I was really intrigued to try the Audiobook to listen to while I was at work. Needless to say it was just as good as when I read the book originally.

Zachary and Erin brought Arlo and Greer to life perfectly with their performances. Capturing the tension and chemistry between the Hero and heroine as well as portraying the humour so well was audiobook gold. I think the atmosphere between secondary characters was also on point, especially when playing pranks on Arlo. This is a great romantic comedy audiobook that I think anyone who loves thing genre of audiobook or is looking to try one will love. It's one I will listen to over and over.

Very Naughty teachers

This is an enemies to lovers type rom com with electric chemistry. It’s perfectly written and witty🔥Zach and Erin are thee perfect narrators as always. Greer starts her new English teaching job at a public school and hits it off with all the teachers except fellow English teacher Arlo. He’s a stuck up, gorgeous cardigan wearer who ridicules Greers modern teaching methods. You could cut the sexual tension between these two with a knife. Greer, along with some fellow teachers decides to teach him a lesson with some seriously hilarious pranks. Things soon turn very heated between these two in more ways than one. It is passionate, funny, quirky, sexy and overall a damn good light hearted read.

I loved it!

Greer and Arlo's workplace romance is sweet, funny, and sexy. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. I loved to follow them in their hilarious, and beautiful journey to love. The cast of supporting characters is impressive, and they have an important part in the story. Arlo's sister is an intriguing character and I would love to have her story. Gunner and Romeo are amazing secondary characters. I love the friendship in this story. Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon are perfect as Arlo and Greer. This is a great team Author/Narrators. This is a feel good romance, and I enjoyed it. I liked the bonus, Date Night, narrated by Connor Crais.

5 Mr Turns Me On Stars

Arlo Turner and Greer Gibson. OMFG!! Combustible. I just loved their story. Of course it has the added bonus of being written by Meghan Quinn, the queen of super fun laugh out loud humour. I was laughing, I was crying, I was cringing. I had all the feels. All the characters were truly brought to life. Arlo is the Head of English at a prestigious high school, Greer is the newly qualified teacher on probation, and boy, do they wind each other up. Two different approaches to teaching. Arlo, the straight laced, stuck up, doesn’t bend the curriculum, lives by the rules, chump (although under those cardigans, there’s a pretty ripped torso). Then there’s Greer, the spirited, loud, bending the curriculum slightly to help her students gain a better understanding, grabs the bull by the horns, always looking on the bright side of life, sweetheart. It just so happens their friendship circles are one and the same, therefore not only are they forced to work next door to each other, they end up spending their downtime in each other’s company too. A faultless, perfect and completely addictive read for me. I did not want it to end. A must for all Meghan Quinn fans, and those who may be new to her writing, if you love fun, quirky characters, and you like a bit of sexy time (I’ll be honest this was hot, hot, hot), and love a great story, this book is for you. I loved it. The audiobook is just perfect. Laugh out loud funny, and narrated to perfection by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber, two of my most favourite narrators.

Swoon Worthy Story & Expert Comedic Timing

Laugh out loud funny, tension filled and incredibly sexy. See Me After Class is Meghan Quinn at her finest. This is an enemies to lovers, friends brother, romantic comedy with a slight age gap. The tension was literally vibrating through my body as Arlo and Greer play their back and forth games. The girl group made up of Greer, Stella, Keiko and Coraline are the kind of characters you want to go drinking with. They had me laughing out loud throughout the book. Keeks may be my favorite character, extremely literal and factual her commentary had me scaring my husband as i hysterically laughed at this book. I even read him a few scenes to which he laughed too. Meghan Quinn announced that this book will be coming to audio narrated by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber. What does that mean folks? Well it means that this book will definitely be on my reread list and that reread will take place in audio. I can't say enough good things about this book, it gives you a little bit of everything, Humor, heart, anticipation and steamy steamy times.

I received an arc of this ebook and voluntarily give my review.

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced listening copy of See Me After Class through Little Dog Press. Can we increase the star rating system please. This story was already a 5 star read for me, but add in the emotion, heat and incredible comedic timing of Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber and this deserves all the stars. I am a puddle on the floor from Zachary Webber's performance of Arlo. Erin Mallon was no slouch either, I laughed at new places and appreciated the banter so much more. Now we all know nothing is perfect, but this is pretty darn close. My only teeny tiny minor complaint was that there were some inconsistencies with side characters across narrators. There were some characters that one narrator gave an accent and the other didn't. This did not affect my enjoyment of the story or rating, merely an observation. One Click this audiobook now! It is completely worth it!
