Publisher's summary

How safe are your secrets?

One letter a week for 15 years. Seven hundred eighty identical white envelopes brimming with my sister’s darkest secrets. All the intimate details of a life as different from mine as could possibly be.

I read each letter slowly to make sure I understand it perfectly, one day very soon it will be a matter of life and death....

At the end of each letter, after signing her name, there is always one final sentence:

Don’t forget to burn this letter.

I’ll let you decide if I do....

A jaw-dropping psychological thriller that you will read in one sitting. If you loved dark, twisty thrillers like The Girl on The Train, The Couple Next Door, and Friend Request, this pause-resisting novel will have your heart racing long after you’ve finished reading.

dont waste your time

This book was so predictable it was insulting. I continued to listen because I thought there must be a twist I didn't see coming. But sadly no, the cliffhanger was just what you'd expect. none of the characters were at all appealing either. Truly a terrible book!

Awful and predictable

Please do not waste your time or money on this book. You’ll guess everything that is about to happen 3 chapters before it dies. It’s a standard story that has been done time and time again. The characters are weak and have paper thin convictions. There is nothing gripping about this awful story.

Not suspenseful enough for me

I knew what was going on before any twist or turn happened, and could figure out what was going on the whole way through. Very disappointed in the way it was so predictable. Good Perfomance by the narrator, but the story was too easy to guess. I hate that in these kinds of books. It had a good plot but wish it wouldn't of been so easy to figure out. I wouldn't waste a credit on this like I did.

Drawn out and predictable

The last book that I listen to was The Silent Patient. I absolutely loved it and recommend it. I was looking for a new thriller and this book came up several times as recommended for the genre. It's very slow and drawn out. I couldn't get behind any of the characters because they are all sort of bland and heavily faulted.

Kept waiting for it to get exciting... it didn’t

This was one of the most predictable books I have ever listened to/read. After the first few chapters you know exactly how it will end.. but I kept hoping for an amazing twist.. surely it couldn’t be the same over done plot as so many twin books do.. don’t waste your time. It’s the same. No twist. No suspense. Just whining, and embarrassingly foolish characters. The only thing that kept me listening was the readers voice.. I think she wanted it to get exciting too.

Dissapointed

I didn’t enjoy this book .I found it quite drawn out and predictable
The plot was evident early on and it’s not a book I would recommend .
It reads like light entertainment ,Mills and Boon , (although I must admit I haven’t read any Mills and Boon ,)springs to mind rather than intrigue and suspense.
Sorry, this is the first of this authors I have listened to .I intend to return it .

could be a storyline for Eastenders or any soap

Completely predictible from the start, every "twist and turn" was predictable, nothing psychological about it it;s fast paced and no gore, thankfully, but it made me feel conned because it sure isn't a "psychological thriller"- i read it all the way through just to see if my suspicions were correct from the start, and they were- all of them.

Sisters act

The story was full of twists and turns. When I start listening to it I can’t put it down. Such an unusual plot. The writer must have done a lot of research to write and finish the story.
Be carful what you wish for.

I just wasted $16 and 9 hours

Boring
predictable
Easy to guess the ending 15 minutes in
Awful character development
I skipped 7 chapters to see the end and was still disappointed.
The Narrator's voice didn't change at all for any characters. Most was read as the 3rd person but even the ones that we're supposed to be different weren't
My faith in this Author has deteriorated
