As a desperate measure, they have constructed extremely efficient killer robots called claws that can operate on their own and are capable of repairing themselves and improving on their own design. Be careful what you design. Never make it smarter than yourself. This is one of the best of Philip K. Dick's stories.

Horrible quality!

The story is great! I've read it before. However, this sounds like some guy read it in his bedroom. Couldn't even finish it!

Great Story, Bad Narration

I love Phillip K. Dick, and this is just such a great story. But the narration was horrific. Tone and pacing was completely off.

Not Much of a Surprise

As interesting as I expected. Science fiction is always engrossing to me. I grew up sneaking my brother's science fiction short story magazines.
