Being a Nova Scotian, this book hit home. I remember collecting the blue or purple rare sea glass on the shore after a storm. The author has the same passion for sea glass that many of us get if we are lucky to find these treasured beaches. The author's passion and tips are addictive. Even a seasoned sea glass hunter will learn many things. This book is a beautiful guide to make sure you arrive at these aforementioned beaches and what to avoid. Highly recommended, add this one to your library!

Very inspiring audiobook

It is a great book if you are hooked to collect Sea Glass. Author did a great job and listing a lot of locations for this treasure hunt with a lot of valuable information for the best your success. If you are new to this addiction you will also find basic information about sea glass in this audiobook.

An audiobook that will make you want to travel!

Not only is this a beautifully narrated book, the descriptions of the locations in which to find sea glass are so appealing. What a great, low-key way to spend time and explore a new place. Now that I know sea glass can be found in these locations, if I do travel there, I'll know where to go and what to look for.

Informative Guide

Sea glass rang a bell in my mind, hence me listening to this audiobook. I realised that I had collected sea glass when I was a kid.! I never really thought much of it, collecting pieces on the beach a few miles away from where I live in the North East of England. The book covers the type and colours of glass to be found. There are also detailed instructions on where to fo find sea glass throughout the world. In this respect, I have to say the author had me at Seaham, not far from where I live!

I found the narration very engaging, with the authors humour coming through perfectly. Excellent job!

I can honestly say, I have never heard an audiobook or any book like this one. It is informative and helpful and will make you see your trip on the beach in a whole different way. Informative, Interesting and I can recommend!

Occasionally you decide to surprise yourself and pick a book outside your favorite genre. Well, this book was that book for me. I felt the need to be spontaneous and choose something completely different. I'd never heard of sea glass before, and if that is you, then this is the perfect book for you. It was educational and informative but not in a boring way. The writer's witty touches and the narrator's style made this a pleasant listen to on my journey home.
Next time I'm at the beach, I won't be looking for seashells but sea glass!
