This work is definitely an Escape from the Ordinar
Escape from the Ordinary weaves humor and candor in equal measure. The richness and clarity of Bradley's description of this epic journey allows the reader to feel as if he or she is sharing a bunk on the sailboat and is embedded right beside Glen and Julie on their journey both on and off the boat. At the end of the story I was both very satisfied and left wanting more - so this story is definitely not enough.

Very enjoyable story, but disappointing ending
I enjoyed this story very much. I was very disappointed in the abrupt ending of the story, however. It’s almost as if it ended in the middle of the story with no explanation.

Really good!
I thought the story was really good. I learned a lot about Sailing. I was impressed how they had the courage to follow their dreams. For me it started out slow but definitely picked up as I got into the story. The narrator wasn’t my favorite for this book but she definitely did some really good accents. I do think it’s worth reading or listening to.

Excellent book!
I had read some of the comments about this book that were negative, so I was apprehensive about buying it. Turned out to be an excellent book with excellent narration. I would definitely recommend this to someone and will likely read it again.

Loved it!
I loved being able to come along on the adventure, learning about sailing, experiencing different cultures, and voyaging to beautiful places all over the world. I feel like I was able to experience much of it through her candid, descriptive writing. Great lessons learned along the way, as well.
