Good Content. Abridged would have been better

The material is meticulously researched and the book thoroughly written. Forest was somewhat lost for the trees because there is too much detail and the story gets lost.

We Gotta Wake Up!

This is a clear explanation for the layperson of how the rejection of science and truth have succeeded, for now, in endangering our democracy, our lives, and our planet as we know it.

Plan for moving forward.

Chapter 7 provided a plan for how we can move forward as a nation. Chapters 1-6 provided the justification for needing a plan

National heros

These two men, these two scientists, are national heroes and American patriots, in the best possible sense of these terms. I hope this work gets the audience it deserves and is a catalyst for the changes it advocates.

Heartbreaking that this is true

At first I thought it was redundant and exaggerated, but as I listened I thought, what if it’s isn’t?
It’s heartbreaking to think that the USA’s leading role in science has to deteriorated due to political repression , l retaliation for telling the truth, and lies in just a matter of months. I worry too about the next generation of young scientists becoming discouraged.
An excellent read/listen and I highly recommend it.
