Publisher's Summary

Cole has successfully survived the preschooler exam, and now he’s a full-fledged Scholomance student.

More importantly, though, he now has four women bound to him forever.

He’s their master, they are his slaves, and they must obey his commands.

But his women also gain power and prestige out of the deal, and the Headmistress has taken a special interest in Cole and his coven.

Now, they must prove themselves against Scholomance’s enemies: The elder gods and their minions.

great story

honestly, the material makes me a bit uncomfortable but I am a big fan of the author so I decided to keep going with the series and so far so good. but again, It's a series I need to be in the mood to read and I almost dropped it multiple times because even though I am not the most religious of people the devil worship gets to be a bit much at times.

Great sequel

Picks up directly where the first novel left off. Narration was also excellent. Can't wait for book 3 to hit audible.

Another well rounded story

Once again, Logan has proven that he knows how to use the sex scenes to enhance the story, instead of just being a gratuitous addition. Well done

Satan damn Patricia. The book was great but dammit if Vanessa didn't steal the whole book with that one line.

Fantastic book that's hard to walk away from.

I laughed, I cringed, I cried and all at the right parts. I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 and was looking forward to book 2 and I am glad I got it.

one of the best parts of this whole experience was narration and it was similar to book one and it was on point. there's really nothing you can say other than perfection. characters were believable and better narration than any book I've listened to on Audible. It pays off to have multiple people playing the different characters.

Well...

I felt like I would need to take a shower after listening to this and still would feel dirty afterwards.
If you like where an alpha male who knows no defeat is surrounded by helpless (supposedly powerful) beautiful witches; who are cursed to do his bidding; than this is the book for you. There are some dark parts in the story but overall no great mysteries are solved here. The narration is the strongest part of the story where the moaning and snorting are probably the best you will ever hear.

Second time listening to this series and I still love it!!

Hands down one of my favorite series in this genre. There’s even some aspects that are better the second time around. Do kinda wish there was at least one anal scene in the series but not a big deal at all. There’s actually some really good back story/world building that sets the stage for an awesome prequel or sequel trilogy, I would seriously LOVE to see either. 10/10 would recommend to all fans of the genre or author 👍

It lacked everything good

When comparing this book with the first one, it is a shallow reflection of it. It lacks everything that was good in the first book (and there was not much to begin with). Logan thought that he could show the antithesis to God by replacing common phrases referring to God and Heaven with references to Satan and Hell. That fails in that goal because the only reason the phrases and curses work is because of who God is and what Heaven is. In any other context, the phrase utterly fails. The school must be the easiest course ever since each semester lasts only about 5 days and each day lasts about 2 hours. Not to mention the ridiculous idea of sending students to attack and kill school destroying threats when a single teacher could do it as an afterthought. Ultimately the story does not work at all.

Plot Holes Assemble / Story's alright though

The amount of times Plot Holes appear in this book is painful to say the least; while the story is alright & the sex is good it leaves a lot to be desired. From the very start of the book there is a promise for answers that gets pushed to the wayside bc there's a more immediate threat as apposed to Who The Hell Is Cole. The magical creatures the Coven hunts are a joke; and the battle with the Duke was a flop. If you can ignore the gaping plot holes & just want the story to continue then it's fine but otherwise bit painful. Thankfully the 3rd book brings it back to decent.

Average at best. Worse than book 1.

Plot was ok, but with bad execution. Story got simplistic, dragged out and repetative. Wake up, learn a spell go to mission and kill something with the spell. Nothing happens in between, everything takes one day and there are no twists or turn. The scens/action gets a bit robotic at times. Likewise with the sex. Could have had more sex scenes. The familiar brings nothing to the book, which is too bad. The heroines are bland and even uninteresting and annoying at times. Too bad, the series have potential and book 1 was pretty good.

Summary grade not worth the money.

Rushed, Repetitive and in need of details

I bought this straight away after the first book was finished. However, as good as the performance was, the story was lacking. It felt completely rushed, like it was runninh out of time and therefore lacked any sort of details. Jumped from place to place, mission to mission before the aftermath of the previous one was looked upon. And followed the same as the first as, the MC is godlike and has no faults and can't be beaten and the intimate scences were too detailed and long compared to the rest of the story, which made it stand out. I really hope the next book changes slightly to ensure a bit depth and bring us into the feeling of magic and wonder more.
