I like dog stories

Easy listen. Nothing too graphic. Narration ok though a bit halting at times. Learn more about main characters in this series.

Whining so much

Nice story but to much whining from the girl main character is like talking to a 10 years old child, with no common sense at all, I just hope the rest of the books aren’t like that.

I love this writer and series. Anxious for the last 2 books to be released!

I did not like the woman’s voice. Sound old and whiney Same voice as the woman in the other stories

Grateful that I got this book for free.Because I will not be listening to any more of this. i listened to the sample and read the reviews before I downloaded the book. A couple of the reviews blamed the narrator but I don't think it's as simple as that in my opinion?Maybe he's just as bored reading it? I thought there was a lot of overexplaining of unnecessary detail
In the narrative and the granddaughter definitely came across as a petulant whiny teenager. The storyline was a good idea, but it could have been told in half the amount of time and it lost my attention so many times but I didn't need to go back and relisten to the areas where my mind would wander, because
I knew I didn't miss anything.. just not my style of writing I guess?
