Virtual Narrating

I do not like the virtual narrating. It lacks expression and is confusing at times on character changes in speaking. All the character sound the same. Very dull. I feel like it takes away from the story.

Narration Sucked

I love Lynette Eason and would hate to quit listening to her books but I will if the AI narration continues. It was stilted and incorrect.

The performance not enjoyable

Virtual voice unpleasant and disappointing. In the past I have really enjoyed her audio books.

story is good but performance lacking

the narrator or reader read like a grade schooler putting emphasis in odd places,her performance was just off.

Clean drama

The story was excellent, and well written. But the virtual voice was awful. Robotic speaking, and no gaps where they were expected, such as between character/chapter changes.

obvious virtual narrator. None of the human emotion that comes with a human narrator. It's difficult to really get into the story.

Great story, narrator almost ruined it

The virtual voice was not pleasant to hear. Inflections were off, voices didn’t always match characters

Terrible Narration!

Virtual voice was horrible. It actually read”me” instead of M.E. Don’t ever do that again. I think the story was good but I couldn’t really decide since it was so hard to get into it. Absolutely no way to make a connection with the characters.

Lack of Personality

I was looking forward to listening to this book, as I loved the others in the series. Unfortunately, the use of AI to read the book destroyed the experience for me. One would think that the use of technology would allow for different tones or voices when changing between characters and the narrator. It did not. While the story line was decent, the voice was distracting removing the pleasure from the experience. I do hope that this will be record with a human reading it. One who is able to bring inflection into the story, understand punctuation, and has life.

the digital voice performance wasn't as good as the human readers but the story was good
