Spectacular and fun

Kathleen is an incredibly talented writer and Helen Laser does her words justice. A beautiful novel of relationships and the stories we tell ourselves and others. Couldn’t put it down!

Great book

I loved this book. Like any good book, I’ll miss the characters for a few days. The relationship between Bea and Christy was relatable. Mother/daughter relationships are complicated but have common threads like the nuances the women understood in each other. These are two women both looking for connection but who go about it in different ways due to their own life experiences and hard wiring. They find grace for each other and both grow through the hardships experienced. I love how the author weaves a tapestry showing how they got to where they are. Well done. I look forward to her next book.

A good story about a Mother and Daughter connection and an adventure helping them to feel grateful for each other!

Stunning prose and beautiful characterization

Loved every word of this. Engaging mother/daughter tale with creative premise. Can’t wait to read Boland’s next book.
