I love this series! Of course Elvis, Sarah’s fur sidekick, plays a big part in my addiction. Then there’s the mostly senior group of sleuths called Charlotte’s Angels who are more than capable of solving mysteries & crime b/c most people just underestimate their abilities.This story centers around the murder of the host of a TV show who loves to debunk ghost stories in supposed haunted houses. Sofie Ryan lives up to her usual way with words to provide a thought provoking & interesting read!

Bring back the old narrator.

Narrator repeatedly pauses unnecessarily and unnaturally. Good story. A bit predictable but I enjoyed it.

Enjoyed the entire series!

I have been listening to the books and I enjoyed each and every story. I liked how the narrator takes her time and doesn't rush through as it gives the story a nice pace and is enjoyable.

I love this series!’

I love all the characters and the way they interact. Elvis the cat is an interesting and well developed character. I’m glad there is no gore or creepiness in the mysteries. They are clever and fun! Can’t wait for the next one!!

Loved it

I have listened to this one several times it’s the best one yet. However I am still trying to figure out why she makes such a huge deal of the coffee cake in the refrigerator upstairs.

I always enjoy the adventures of Sarah and the gang. Elvis is a very special cat and adds so many character to the stories.

Love the stories

The new narrator I narrator I do not care for. After listening to so many I am getting good about who done it but I like the other plots and I want to know the ending. So I keep ordering them

Another great addition to the series

Sofie Ryan has crafted another great installment in the Second Chance Cat Mystery Series. It has all the wonderful characters we’ve grown to know and love, and another fantastic mystery to make you want to solve it.
Rachel L. Jacobs, as always, gave an outstanding performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy mystery fans.

Narration is awful

I cannot enjoy the story because the narration is so out of sync. Or, should I say syncopated. Narrator pauses and stops, raises and lowers pitch, and imitates a confidential or business tone that has nothing to do with the story. I sure wish the book could be redone with another narrator or the former one. I tried to return book but Audible didn’t allow: maybe because it had been on sale for $2.65. Lesson learned.
