Publisher's Summary

One trip down the stairs, caused by a lone Lego, while wrapped in a towel, spewing a plethora of profanities, and my cell phone went flying.

I landed on my ass, and then the ER.

Between those two occurrences was a FaceTime call, placed by a bouncing phone, to the number of a man I didn’t even truly look at, who had now seen more of my body than anyone had since my Tinder days, over a year ago.

Three declined calls later, I limped out the door to get myself to the ER before starting my hectic day.

The ER was packed, but when I saw Nurse Bridget, one of my students’ mothers, I pleaded my case, and she hurried me into an examination room.

An hour later, I left on crutches with a bruised ass, a fractured ankle, and an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon at four p.m.

Arriving 15 minutes late for that appointment, I heard the sexy yet very brash accent of a man who clearly had an obsession with punctuality and had, apparently, no bedside manner. Dr. Ethan Stewart, tall, copper-haired, sinfully sexy...was a total ass.

After a tongue-lashing about how irresponsible I was to, first, leave the ER with such an injury, and second, be late, I put him in his place...or so I thought.

Turned off by his arrogant attitude, turned on by the roguish glint in his green eyes and the way he spoke, I left his office a hot...and wet mess.

Upon exiting, my phone rang again. It was the same number from before, and I couldn’t help answering to give the caller a piece of my mind.

Once in my car, I hung up, tossed my phone on the passenger seat, and then looked out the window to see him with his phone to his ear and a grin spread across his far too handsome face. It couldn’t be.... Could it?

Okay

You don’t need to read the first book but if you want to....
The first book that started the “Hero Club Series” Soraya and Graham’s story Is “Stuck-Up Suit” by ViKeeland and Penelope Ward it took me forever to figure it out.

Female lead is completely unlikable

I struggled to finish this book. I adored the male character and Will Watts voice and Scottish accent is dream worthy. I loved his daughter too, and the twist about three quarters of the way in I didn't see coming. those are the only good points.

The female lead is completely immature, whiny and just totally unlikable, and the narrator's voice did not help make her more relatable or likable. I literally played her narrated chapters on 2.00 speed just to get through them as quickly as possible. she is so dramatically immature and irrational that I was like...is this character 14?

I don't think I will try another of this author's books unless it were free, and maybe not even then. and for god's sake, if I read one more character going on and on about how she gained 5 pounds and is now so jiggly and chubby...please stop...your fat-phobia is showing

Sweet, sassy, sexy and lol fun.

Who doesn’t love a growling Scottish giant with a heart of gold and a penchant for dirty talk… FYI: If you’ve ever had a single dirty thought about Claire’s darling Jamie, you’ll be needin’ ta be alone when readin’ this book, lass!

I love a Scottish accent!♡

I'll be honest this Man with the Scottish accent, could of read me the instructions on the tampon box and I probably would be enamored by him! lol! Definitely will be finding more books with him!
It was a good sweet simple story. I mean what do you expect from a romance novel of this caliber? It's no Bronte. But enjoyable kept my mind occupied and I didn't lose interest. Both male and female lead was enjoyable. Looking for quick listen, it was worth it!

Cute Story

This could easily have been my sister who is obsessed with Jamie Fraser and outlander as well. cute story. lots of time skips, especially in the end. some things just didn't seem to flow for me.

Wasn't a huge fan of Grace's Scottish impression but it got better/more tolerable. and I'm not a fan of the Days versus chapters set up. For some reason, my new phone is playing the book even when my car radio is on mute and the app is closed, so I need to change the settings. but the book finished and it was difficult to locate where I last listened.

Quick, entertaining & surprisingly sweet

For lovers of Jamie Fraser and sexy accents. While definitely nsfw, this romance was surprisingly sweet and the hero surprisingly vulnerable. It was a quick, entertaining read with great narration.

LOL must read

I loved this book from beginning to end. I identified well with her love of the Outlander. I loved the fireworks and sass. The plot twists just add to the pitter patter that makes this a great read. This will be reread many times when I need to banish stress.

Gave me so many feels!!

This was a new author for me. I enjoyed every minute of this book. It gave me all the feels and even had a shocking moment as well. Loved how these two met and then just happened to keep being part of each other’s worlds. Grace Grant
and Will Watt killed their performances!! I honestly didn’t want this book to end!

Gotta love a scotsman

Really injoyed this story I think the only thing that ruined it for me was when the male voice actor was trying to put on a female voice and had a even harder time listening to the female trying to do a Scottish accent. But still well worth a listen :)

I wanted to like Dr Screw and nail but...

Spoiler alert*

For the most part I enjoyed this book. The main characters have good chemistry and I found myself laughing out loud during some parts.
I think the author ruined Ethan for me when he threw away her birth control to get her pregnant. I mean....that’s really not sexy.
Sure there are other signs of alarming controlling behaviour that I’m sure would have bothered some people and I was happy to overlook them and just take them at face value. But throwing out her birth control at the end, I don’t know that was just a massive turn off for me which is a shame because he could have been the perfect sexy Scotsman otherwise.
