Jennifer Cunningham is determined to make a success of The Scallop Shell, the knitting shop she’s managing in Tregrebi, a pretty fishing village in Cornwall. well read

the series is well written and I enjoy the stories very much. I'm going to listen to other series by the same author.

Worth the wait

I was waiting for this book and it didn’t disappoint. It was nice that Lucy was in the book and it looks like Jennifer will become a amateur detective in her own right. I look forward to getting to know the vampires and what is going on with Jennifer’s ex.

character growth

liked finding out how much time has passed since the first Cornwall book. the plot line was well written and kept me guessing until the end.

Another cute cozy mystery

This was a great addition to the adventures of Lucy and Jen and the vampires. Closed set murder mystery. I was able to guess the murder pretty early on.

Knitting Mystery

I enjoy murder mysteries especially ones that include various crafts. The entire Vampire Knitting Club series has been wonderful. While I am more of a crocheter than a knitter, I still enjoyed every book and the author's style of writing. I look forward to future books.

Another fantastic audio book

I liked how this took place after the first box set I had very much enjoyed

Fantastic Crossover with the Vampire Knitting Club

This is the second book in the Cornwall Spinoff of the Vampire Knitting Club and it fits into the VKC after book #15 in the series. This book fits perfectly with book 15 of the Vampire Knitting Club as one of the suspects from Cables and Conjurers pops up in this book and continues one of more storylines from book 15 in the Vampire Knitting Club. I love that the author has brought Lucy's friend Jennifer over from the states to start a second yarn shop and vampire knitting club in Cornwall. I love that we have a new cast of characters to get to know, yet we have the same high-quality storylines with fabulous dialogue, layers of storylines, characters with depth and so much more! I'm excited to get to know these new characters so much better so I absolutely can't wait for more books in this series. I do recommend for maximum enjoyment that you read in order the Vampire Knitting Club and slide the Cornwall spinoff books in based on publication dates as well so you can get maximum entertainment from both series. For those who have read the Vampire Knitting Club, you'll be happy to know that there are several characters that have moved to Cornwall to help with the yarn shop so you'll have a bit of consistency of characters as well. I love a great crossover of series and Cornwall is like an extended crossover! I am loving it! Outstanding narration really brings the book to life too!

Anxiously awaiting the third book! Next up: Vampire book club, hope it eases the terrible waiting.

So Good

Lots of twists you don’t see coming. Is there a love interest, it’s not really clear at this point. But she has a past! Will it catch up to her?? Piper does a fabulous job with narration and the story was well written and kept me interested.

Retreat

I really need Lucy to embrace knitting it’s ridiculous that she doesn’t like knitting but yet she runs a knitting shop!! It doesn’t make sense. Can’t wait for Jen to find her love
