it's a good read

it's 100% worth the read not my favorite read but is worth it and I would read it again and I would recommend it for beginners to the supernatural world

Let Down

Sooooo boring, like its written by a teen. And the narrator.... sounds older than the character says they are, threw me off picturing a mature older woman instead of the high school/college age character being described. The constant use of 'shifted' instead of actually describing how the air became charged or his gaze moved from ... etc. And this stupid 'grounding'? Literally picture a metal rod stuck in the ground to avoid lightning. Not to mention this stupid 'guiding' crap to avoid writing how a character is being moved aside or walked out or picked up, ugh! I want to read a book, not spend my time editing this shit out while I'm trying to immerse into the story.
