Great Read
Saving Jake (Blessings, Georgia, #3) was a great read by Sharon Sala. Jacob has returned to his hometown of Blessings, Georgia after eight years in the Marines. His only plan is to hole up in his empty home and fix what’s left of his soul. But the town and his charming neighbor find him doing more than he planned. Laurel understands what has happened to Jake because she witnessed her ex husbands similar experiences. She doesn’t really want a relationship but can’t fight her attraction to Jake. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read more by Sharon Sala.

Very uplifting story.
Sharon Sala never fails to deliver a well thought out, inspirational storyline, with fulling developed realistic characters.
I wanted a story to get lost in for Christmas Day and Saving Jake became the most perfect and fitting gift. Apropos the story extended over the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas 🎄 Day. So after all the eating and togetherness, I was able to sit back and enjoy some me time.
The story unfolded smoothly and easily.
Despite the varying and potentially debilitating adversities, the main characters were able to rise above and triumph over their pain.
The story was made even more suspenseful and intriguing by the slapstick antics of the protagonist as he struggled to meet out his revenge.
Despite the serious themes, there was enough humor to ease the telling of the tale.
The narrator was exceptional and made all the individual characters come alive in a lively and engrossing way.
