To have it dual narrowed is just soo amazing! You can really emerge yourself in the book. It’s an incredible book. Jackson and Ariel have a really fun and easy dynamic. To go from “help me with the list” to lovers..

Jaxon’s Little Fox

Jaxon is my new book boyfriend. He was utterly delicious and a perfect match for Ariel. The naked kick meet cute was such a funny beginning to their story and I knew their chemistry would be explosive. The duet narration adds a whole new immersive experience to the story. I absolutely loved it.

I read the book first but the audio is dynamite! I love the dual narration and the sound effects are perfect! The story is so hot and super sweet. Love these two characters.

Phew!! What hotness. Every book is greater than the last and the last was the best lol I loved this book so hard!! Can't wait for next :) and the narrators are so listenable!!

Amazing and hot,hot, hot!

The narrators do an extraordinary job of bringing this wonderful book to life. The accents, tones and nuances are perfection. I must admit that I cannot get enough of the Scottish accent especially during the steamy scenes. I absolutely love this book! Jackson and Ariel bring enough heat and steam to melt the polar ice cap or even the most frozen of hearts. (Get out the fans and ice water!) Both have struggled to hide their attraction to each other, in part because of their mutual love of her brother, but also due to their age difference and a fear of not being good enough for the other. A painful incident in his past spurs Jackson’s desire to be the best bodyguard and security expert possible. He is the first to discover that there is a viable threat to Ariel’s safety. He rallies the team and makes sure that Ariel recognizes that the threat is real, not just imagined. He is also determined to personally keep her safe.

Ariel has always known that her father still hopes to drag her and brother back under his control. He has sent a spectre from her past to collect her, by force if necessary. Having Jackson as her personal bodyguard while his brother is away to complete his training is both exciting and disturbing. He muddles her thoughts and heightens all of her senses and emotions whenever he is close. A shared kiss has shown both of them the sparks they can create and hinted at their explosive chemistry, though he then pushes her away. When she and her gal pals get together to celebrate her birthday, they commensurate with her and help her make a naughty to do list of firsts in regard to sexual activities. When Jackson finds her list, he is unbelievably intrigued and excited to help Ariel strike these items off her list, despite knowing that he should be keeping his distance and concentrating on her safety. He is not ready to admit even to himself, that Ariel has already claimed his heart. It’s a wonder that they don’t set fire to the tower during their mission to knock off the items on her naughty list. As they learn more about her stalker and attempt to thwart his efforts, Ariel and Jackson find it impossible to keep their hands off each other. What happens when this threat is over? Will they part ways or will they keep their relationship going forward?

I love the way the whole group of friends and colleagues, (both the security side and search & rescue side), rally around Ariel and Jackson. They have become a family that teases, encourages and supports each other. The returning characters and continuation of their stories only enrich this book. I love the give and take, the soul-deep connection and the naughtiness of Ariel and Jackson relationship. They have both risen above their miserable, controlling and dysfunctional families, a heroic feat it itself. A happily ever after is well deserved for these two lovers.

I highly recommend this book, especially to those who like their romance on the spicier side.

Loved the duet narration, enhanced the story.

This story kept me turning pages. Both Ariel and Jackson had bad family problems which seemed to keep following them. I loved Ariel's determination to end the problem on her end. The list was fun and steamy. Jackson's past was tragic and horrific at the same time, and it kept popping up. I enjoyed the suspense side of the story (who was doing it, why, etc.) as much as the steamy side. Definitely a hot read. I highly recommend this story, this series, and I look forward to the next one.

I listened to the audiobook as well. The narration by Aaron Shedlock and Addison Barnes, especially in the duet mode, was wonderful. I loved that they each did their gender's parts with the different accents and intonations.

This is absolutely my favorite audio book ever! I will never get tired of listening to it.

I already loved this book. Ariel is an absolute badass-but in a relatable way, no super spy skills or anything- and Jackson is freaking awesome. Jolie Vines absolutely nailed these characters & how well they compliment each other. Plus chapters 25 & 26 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥AND it's even better to listen to 🥵

Then the casting was prefect (though I do not recommend listening to Tormented then going straight in to SHFM, that's why THAD exists 😜) Seriously, Aaron Shedlock is absolute perfection as Jackson. I have listened to the start of the book like 5 times already & I freaking melt every time.

I love Jackson and Ariel’s relationship. They are utterly amazing and Aaron and Addison do the most amazing job bringing them to life. I love the banter between them throughout the book. I love the list, and how it is still getting changed up to the end. Jolie is such an amazing author. I can’t wait for her next book!
