Publisher's summary

Falling for my kidnapper is a terrible idea.

He's a bad man, and I don't mean trash like your ex. I mean seriously bad. I mean dangerous. You can tell just by looking at him: black eyes, a menacing scowl, and a nose that's been badly broken in the past. He is my arch-nemesis. My mortal enemy. My singular obsession.

I was afraid of him when we met. He kidnapped and chained me to a bed. Me—Damon Alexander Beckett of BeckIT fame and fortune. Well, the joke's on him because I'm going to make it my life's mission to destroy him. But first, I have to survive being his captive. He's here all the time, watching me. His heavy male presence never more than five feet away. Dark, glinting eyes tracking down my body.

When he propositions me indecently, I am shocked and outraged—as I should be. Seriously, the audacity of him is unreal. It's obvious I should say no. It goes without saying. Any sane person would laugh in his face.

So why am I on my knees?

Suspenseful, dramatic, lustful and erotic enemies to lovers!

Story is captivating with plenty of explicit detailed steamy scenes. Narration was excellent and brought the characters to life!

One of my favorites

I originally read this on my Kindle and loved it so much I bought the audiobook as soon as it was released. The voices and performances were perfect. This is easily one of my favorite audiobooks.

I really ENJOYED this ...

This is my first book by this author...& I will definitely seek out more...I loved both narrators. I need to listen again knowing this is NOT what I thought it was "gonna" be. I thought this was "gonna" be- evil stalker -kidnaps -dominates-DRAMA ...NOW for sure - I do LOVE those stories...but this was different...the spice was there...the story was GREAT...as long as you know this is NOT the super uper EVIL type story.

Great book, great audiobook!

The snark, banter and sarcasm are incredible in this book! I had several laugh out loud moments. Michael Dean deliciously delivered Demon’s sarcasm and Tim Paige made a great Saint!

Obsessed

This is everything a romance should be. These two are obsessed with each other in the best way. Perfect narration. Highly recommend!

Was not what I expected… in a good way

I was expecting a really dark mm romance book. Was not expecting the sweetness or funny banter. Both narrators did an amazing job. Loved this book!

I’m not sure how to feel…

I’m torn… this had so much potential. The plot and chemistry were on point, then it went all over the place. I feel like it started off great, then after their first time together it just all speeds up. Then it slows down at strange parts, then picks back up again. A little too much internal monologue, like a sentence or so too long. The side characters were kind of afterthoughts? Like just a blip here and there. And we got almost no background on Saint which bothered me a bit. I had no clue why he thought the way he did, and what pushed him to make the decisions he did. The biggest thing that bothered me *SPOILER* is when Saint bursts into Damon’s office to actually give the relationship a shot, there was literally no build up. No insight into Saints thinking and how he came to that decision, just walks in and decides to try. It came out of nowhere and threw me off.

I honestly think this had so much potential, but it was all over the place. Definitely 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ with some kink involved. I wouldn’t use a credit on this though..

Banter Enemjes to Lovers Funny and Hot

This was a ton of fun and well-narrated! A gay romance that starts as a kidnapping, escalated when the kidnapped finds out he’s supposed to be unharmed and decides to be as annoying as possible, including playing “gay chicken” not realizing the kidnapper is also gay. Lots of fun, full of snark and humor and steamy moments.

Absolutely fabulous!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got way more than I'd hoped for! Many reviewers both here and on Amazon found this to be very funny, and while there was sarcasm, amusing moments, and it put a smile on my face more than a few times, I didn't find it to be uproarious in any way. That said, it did keep my attention every step of the way with both the story and the narration. I loved the different take on the enemies to lovers trope, how they were definitely enemies beyond any doubt. As far as steam goes, it was definitely steamy - and as someone who always wants the steam to be there, I was not disappointed in the least. No, it wasn't 90% steam and 10% story, so no worries... but those not wanting to be disappointed, won't be! All in all I am sorry there isn't more to their story to enjoy because I loved these two together!

Different kind of MM story.

3.5/5 ⭐️ 3/5🌶️
This was an interesting story and way different from the usual romance I read.

I think I would have preferred reading this one to listening though. Tim Paige is one of my favorite narrators and did great but the voice of Michael Dean is not for me. It was strange and I didn’t look forward to the pov of Demon because of it.
The spicy scenes were a little off to me for some reason too but that’s not super important.
