I have 6 hours left of this 14 hour book. I drive a lot so it was easy to put on and listen. If I wasn't driving thought it'd make for a good drinking game...a shot for every time the world critical or essential is used.

I am just getting into HR, and from the get-go I felt it was a vague and broad book that wasn't hitting anything of real substance. But I gave it a while as I had nothing to build on and thought maybe it was just the intro and would eventually get better. However, after listening to nearly 9 hours of the book and finally attempting practice questions online, I can honestly say this book is fairly useless. It is way too vague. There's a lot of "Knowing ____ is critical", but then doesn't go into ____ anymore. Very AI generated sounding, and the 5 star reviews here probably are as well.
