Favorite in the Series

I haven't read the last one yet (hasn't been released on Audible) but Cole and Sawyer - OMG. Cole - LOVE HIM! I love their story, I love everything about this book! Don't miss out on this one!!

I loved this book! Cole is my favorite, and I love his back story and how him and Sawyer helped each other grow.

My oh my this book was everything. I loved it so much that I have not put it down like literally didn’t sleep. The best love story of HEA. So much real raw emotions that has you living in the moment of the story in each chapter. Especially with the way Ashley Jade wrote this story is everything. She took real life everyday high school drama and brought it to life this here. It took me back to my high school days. Lady you’re amazing! So looking forward for the next book in this series. I never laughed so much and cried at the same time.

YOU MUST LISTEN TO THE FIRSR ONE THEN THIS OKE TO FULLY UNDERSTAND and get a real joy ride out of it.

Lila Waters and Teddy Hamilton are the best narrators for this series. BUT I’m also OBSESSED with Teddy, his voice alone just makes you ….. loved it.

Absolutely LOVED this second book! So glad I purchased it. Purchasing the 3rd one now! Narrators did an amazing job. Teddy is my all time favorite! This is my 2nd time hearing Lila and she might be my new favorite!! 6/5 stars

The Whole “Fat Thing”...

Ok, this was overall an excellent read. I didn’t want to put the book down and was very invested the entire time. I do have an issue with the whole “fat thing”...This story was centered around a heavy-set heroine and the word “fat” was used about a billion times. I love a book that doesn’t conform to the norm. I love a curvy heroine. I love that we are reminded beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Big girls can be super sexy!!! However, when you’re just over 5 feet tall and 200 lbs...that is a health issue! Especially when you’re so young and your metabolism should be at its finest. I understand how someone struggling with weight and body image issues could go into a downward spiral, and the allure of medication to solve the issue. I think what was missing for me was that there was no solution in the end - no middle ground. She’s either drugged out and skinny or she’s overweight. It doesn’t matter to me that in the end she’s not a size 6 or smaller. Her mom is a real B...but her talk of diet and exercise is dismissed. At the end of the day, you can be a size 4 or 14 and still be gorgeous...but what you put in your body does matter. And exercise is something we should all strive for on a regular basis. Why couldn’t Sawyer end up a size 8, 10, 12 or whatever size and still take her health into account by at least doing some mild exercise? We should promote beauty no matter what the size but we shouldn’t pretend that being overweight as long as you don’t take diet pills/amphetamines equals healthy. I was looking for more balance here. Otherwise, beautiful story. I loved that Cole saw Sawyer for who she was and her beauty radiated from the inside out. Just wished more emphasis was placed on her being healthy in the end. Excellent narration.

My Heart

This book! Oh. My. Gosh! This pulled you into so many different emotions. I laughed (Oakley is hilarious), cried (gut-wrenching for both Sawyer and Cole), and got angry (the mom). I still loved it. I wish it didn’t have so much profanity, but I love how they healed each other. So sweet.

Teddy and Lila were fantastic!
