Great Book!

I love the authors work! The storyline is excellent! Essex is definitely Book Bae! Getting ready to listen to part 2.

OMG!!!

Essex, OMG!!! This book is so good. Had to start the next book as soon as this one was finished and it is 1:00 a.m. in the morning. This book was funny; but sad. The narrator did an excellent job with characters. Tina, you have knocked it out of the park! On to book 2.

Good Read

Very interesting read that touches on identity issues. Cute Love story full of twist and turns.

Why split the book

This should have been one book. Why make us use 2 credits? I feel robbed! I have never heard this narrator, she was ok. I have to hear her again to make a better judgment.

Slow, boring, snooze fest

This is story is strange and never made sense. He’s stalking her in the cringeiest way. Performance fell flat.

I want to know what happens.. but I’m not buying book 2.

I really wanted to enjoy this book but I felt like I kept waiting for some big moments. It’s a pretty decent start to a story but the way it ends in order to set up for book 2 annoyed me.

this book is super slow and boring. could have been better. the narrator did good but the story was okay

Went nowhere slowly

The ingredients for a good story was there but it missed the mark. I will get book 2 since Inhate to leave things open.

Not my cup of tea

The narrator is great.

As far as this story...... I cant get with it. where do I even begin, the premise started off great a woman who needs a job gets hired by her old secret admirer who had an upgrade in life, and thats where the good ends. Essex is mentally ill as far as I am concerned and no matter how good you look on the outside your actions can quickly make you ugly and to me he Is very ugly and annoying. In real life Quintessa would have quit and it would have been followed by a lawsuit to her former employer.

Quintessa's behavior doesn't make sense there is nothing about this man that would make any sane woman put up with him she just met him and he was already throwing out insults. Nothing about her accepting his job offer when she already got hired at another company makes sense.

I am also mystified at how this author was able to scam a second book out of this flimsy premise, nothing about the first book makes me want to read the second. By the end of the first book nothing is resolved she still doesn't know who he really is.
