Marisa Calin
Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era!
Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon—the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.
Kerstin Gier's Ruby Red is young adult novel full of fantasy and romance.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
hmmm. I'm on the fence about this one. The beginning was slow and treacherous but it started to pick up at the end. I found myself fast fowarding to the part where she actually tells people she is the time traveler. The beginning was so slow and i feel like the author spent to much time on the build up and not enough on the actually travelingWhat did you like best about this story?
I like the story. Its different and uniqueWhich character – as performed by Marisa Calin – was your favorite?
I really liked George. I didn't fall in love with Gwen like i normally do with female leads.I think because i prefer the strong willed heroin leads and Gwen in this book seems like a pushover a lot of the time and doesn't stand up for herself which infuriates me. Hopefully in the next book she will learn a few more traits and wise up a little. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Even in the present you must face the dangers of the pastAny additional comments?
Like i mentioned above, hopefully she will wise up a little and learn some things so she can take care of herself. I did feel like the kiss at the end was a little rush. He has only been around her a few times and suddenly she is "special to him" That same day he was cozy-ing up to Charlotte.Slow and boring at first, but it picked up!
