Gwen's life has been a rollercoaster since she discovered she was the Ruby, the final member of the secret time-traveling Circle of Twelve. And Xemerius, the gargoyle demon who has been following Gwen since he caught her kissing Gideon in a church, offers advice on everything. Oh, yes. And of course there is Gideon, the Diamond. One minute he's very warm indeed; the next he's freezing cold. Gwen's not sure what's going on there, but she's pretty much destined to find out.

Beautiful story telling

Absolutely wonderful writing, I loved this book from first sentence and to last! I can’t wait to start the next one in the trilogy!

Good clean fun

Really enjoyed listening to this with my 11 year old daughter. She could identify with the youthful characters, and it wasn't racy or inappropriate as some YA can be. Great narrator

This series is so entertaining, a little too short in my opinion but that’s just cause I want more lol

Fun and entertaining

For those who like a little magic, time travel and great characters this is a very fun story. Enjoyed the whole series, but this book I keep listening to over and over. Nothing like a stone gargoyle turned demon to liven things up and get the best punch lines. Reader Marisa Calin has a delightful accent that has me looking for all of her works. Perfect easy summer listening.

Love the back and forth in time. Wish the heroine was a little sharper and could have a clue.
