Publisher's Summary

A hockey-playing prince, a most improper lady, and one accidental pregnancy....

When you’re an heir so spare that getting attacked by a shark is more likely than you ever wearing the crown, you’re only allowed certain liberties. Yet still, those liberties can bite you in the ass.

Good thing I’m such a charming devil.

Even then, I’ve been banished to America for a year under the pretense of playing professional hockey while my father cleans up my latest mess. But trouble follows me wherever I go. Generally trouble of the beautiful female variety, and Gracie Diamonte is no exception. Or possibly, she’s the best exception.

Until the dinosaur suit. The cookie incident. And the accidental pregnancy.

Of course I’ll do the right thing.

Just as soon as I solve that pesky problem of my royal betrothal.

I’m about to be the biggest scandal to rock my country, and there’s a good chance my father may throw me to the sharks after all. The funny thing is I’ve heard that raising children may not be so different from swimming with the sharks. So no matter how you look at things, I am Royally Pucked.

Royally Pucked is a hilariously wrong romance between a spare heir and the lady least likely to ever wear a princess crown, complete with dirty cookies, an emotional support monkey, and lots of pucking around. This romantic comedy stands alone with no cheating or cliffhangers and ends happily with a family of...more than two.

So Fun

The story takes place in the great Thrusters ice hockey world build by Pippa Grant. The performance of the readers was fabulous. Hearing a southern accent and the "royal" accent of Stolland. The 3 bonus epilogues had me laughing so hard I cried.

Royalty and cookies.

This book had me in stitches. I adore Gracie and Manning... I am not normally one for the accidental baby troupe... but this one has cookies.. and the Berger twins. I totally mispronounced Stoland when I was reading on kindle. Stay for the epilogues. I was laughing so hard my dogs were staring

Royally hilarious

I read this a few years ago and decided that it deserved a listen. This audiobook makes the story so much more than it is in print! Virginia Rose and Jacob Morgan take Gracie and Manning to a new level. Gracie’s southern girl sass is in full force. I have to say that I am in awe with the number of voices that Jacob had to pull off with this book and it was flawless! This is one of my favorite Pippa couples and I’m so glad I listened!

Awesome cookies, monkey & narration!

Both Gracie and Manning were introduced to each other in Pilot and the Puck-Up and even though it was obvious something would come from their initial meeting, I wasn’t all that interested. I really have no reason as to why I wasn’t eager to jump into their story other than Gracie seemed a little boring to me… luckily she showed off her ballsy side during this book. Gracie is the little sister of Joey (who I loved) and a baker in Goat’s Tit who secretly specializes in dickookies… how does Pippa Grant come up with this, it’s perfect. Manning is a prince who got shipped of to play hockey for the US in exchange for some good press and promo for his homeland. He always appeared happy go lucky in previous books but we find out there is more beneath the surface with Manning. The story line and accidental pregnancy was great but the best part of the book for me was the side characters. I think I am really just a sucker for the Berger twins, I thought Zeus would be my favorite when I was introduced to him in Mister McHottie but after listening to this book I am leaning more towards the quiet Ares! Between Ares and Loki, I was laughing a good amount throughout the book and I can’t wait to get more of Ares in Beauty and the Beefcake!

Virginia Rose and Jacob Morgan did a great job narrating. Virginia Rose pulled off Gracie perfectly, she really had the ability to bring the determination and even panic that Gracie felt to a realistic level. Jacob Morgan is always an automatic listen for me so it was no surprise that I loved his narration in this one.

4.5 Hilarious Royal RomCom Stars!

This hilarious romcom was fun and sizzling from the very beginning and never slowed down. Manning is a real Prince from Stölland. He is not in line to become king but has been banished for a bit so they can clean up his latest scandals. Because he loves and played hockey on Stölland's olympic team, he moved to America to play on a professional hockey team there. He meets and is intrigued by Gracie, a fiesty, beautiful baker. They have a night of fiery passion that results in Gracie getting pregnant. She is determined to raise her baby on her own, without trapping Manning, but would like him to be involved. Manning is surprised by how much he wants Gracie and their baby. When unexpected royal duties get in the way, Manning tries to protect them by leaving. But Gracie doesn't want him to suffer his fate if she can help him. But can a sheltered southern girl with a potty mouth be enough to defy a king and save Manning? I love how strong Gracie is despite her insecurities about some things. She is smart, loyal and spunky and the perfect match for the sweet, and swoony Manning.
This entertaining story is brought to life beautifully by Jacob Morgan, and Virginia Rose. I love both their voices, along with their flawless comedic timing and dynamic voice changes as they delivered the clever, fast paced, snarky banter. They made me laugh, swoon and cheer for Manning and Gracie's HEA. They made this hilarious, heartfelt, and steamy story even better.

Cookies, a monkey, and lots of hotness

Fantastic listen to this rom com with heart and a hot royal hockey player.

Manning knows his time is running out but he will enjoy his freedom as long as he can. Gracie has always second guessed herself due to her dyslexia even though her sister, Joey has always told her she can do whatever she wants. When she decides his royal hotness, Manning is what she wants she gets more than she bargained for.

This is funny and the heat is off the charts and the characters are all great. Oh and there is a monkey that is just too funny. Loved it.

Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose were great. Jacob with his accent and Virginia nailed the southern Gracie. Great job.

I loved it and recommend this audio.

Loved

Jacob Morgan has always been one of my top narrators but the accent he put on for Stoolin was so delicious. I love how Gracie was the one to save the prince

Opposites

Fantastic narration. Manning’s accent and tone we perfection.
I adore Manning and Gracie. The opening scene of this book is fantastic. Gracie’s side cookie business is genius. A surprise baby is one of my favorite tropes. This is a great opposites attract story. This author writes the absolute best secondary characters. Pay attention because you almost always see them again.

Oh My Dog!!

OMG. This story...I laughed...I laughed until I cried. Manning and Gracie’s story was too hilarious for words. I couldn’t help but get lost in the world that was Copper Valley and Stolland and all it’s craziness. Yet, I didn’t want to leave. Manning and Gracie had some sizzling hawt sexy times. But, what was the delicious final touch was Jacob and Virginia. They were the cherry on the sundae, just audio perfection. Jacob Morgan with that accent did some things to me and even if it doesn’t fit the story I’d be willing to hear him with it in every audiobook of his I listen to from now on.

Hockey & Cookies!

Whenever I need to relax, fall in love and just laugh, I know I can count on Pippa Grant. Every time I find myself falling into a story with good friends and a lot of laughs. Royally Pucked is especially good because of the amazingly strong heroine. Meet Gracie. A baker by trade, she hooks up with hockey player, Manning and later finds is pregnant. Manning is no ordinary hockey player, but Prince, with royal obligations and expectations. Determined to raise the baby alone, she finds herself in the midst of a wonderful love story. Now Grant doesn't just let it slowly unfold and let them easily get to their happy ending. We have pranks, and cookies, and the betrothed and family and hockey players all bringing us into the story full force. Laughing and falling in love is the best feeling, and she does it again for me with this one! The Copper Valley Thrusters are a team to follow!

Grant picks the best narrators for her stories. Jacob Morgan comes in with an accent that is swoony and heart melting. Virginia Rose shines as the feisty, Gracie. I enjoyed their comedic timing how their voices complimented each other. It was a great listen!

Great job bringing the ebook to life

I really liked the ebook when I read it a while ago but when I had the opportunity to listen to the ebook, I jumped at it because, well, Jacob Morgan. He affected this beautiful accent and I can just listen to him speaking for hours. Oh wait, I just did! ha No seriously, I am always impressed at how these narrators (Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose) move so smoothly from voice to voice, male or female. The narration was excellent and truly elevated this adorable story.

This story itself is so fun. Manning is a prince but he's like 5th in line so he's allowed to play hockey for the Thrusters. What that means is we get to see some of the characters we love- Ares and Zeus, Murphy, etc. And i love revisiting our favorite cast of wacky characters. He meets and falls instantly for Gracie. They have one night together and oops, Gracie finds herself in the family way. But Manning has to deal with the responsibilities of royalty, including an arranged marriage. How do they overcome the obstacles to be together? It was a funny but also so sweet path to their HEA.
