Everyone said to not give up on Lacey, as dogs often disappeared only to reappear later. That one thought calls her to spend every spare moment she has at the site, calling for Lacey. When she realizes someone else has the same idea, she’s happy to join forces.

When things get ugly, she’s glad to have someone at her side because she hadn’t seen what ugly could really look like...until now.

Love a dog story!

Loved it! Fire, devastation, loss and hope. A pet lost then found and a wonderful man to help along the way to recovery.

reality

it's nice to think that our real military men & women can be so very human. the book makes them to out too be over the top. a very good read.

bad narrator

narrator was flat and monotone. made the story very boring and hard to listen to. I couldn't finish the book.
