A BRAND-NEW darkly addictive psychological thriller with the most shocking twists you’ll listen to this year, from a bestselling author.

They say blood is thicker than water. I say blood is just harder to wash off your hands.

My name’s Kimberley. I’m twenty-five. I have epilepsy, a seizure alert dog named Muffin, and a job I love as a senior housekeeper in one of London’s top hotels. I’m used to being invisible. Overlooked. Safe.

But that was before Jennifer Clifton checked in. She’s rich, powerful, terrifyingly calm — and she asks for me by name.

She offers me my dream job, working in her exclusive hotel in the Scottish Highlands. It’s more money than I ever imagined.

There’s just one catch: Don’t open the door to Room 21.

How hard can that be?

But something is wrong in this hotel. The guests give me the creeps. The staff whisper behind closed doors. And that room — the one I promised not to enter — calls to me.

I took this job for a better life. Now I’m trapped in a nightmare.

Warning: This book contains dark and disturbing themes.

This addictive thriller packed with chilling secrets is perfect for fans of Daniel Hurst, Freida McFadden, Mark Edwards, John Marrs and Jane E. James.

I loved that ot was not virtual voice. I no longer will listen to any that are virtual voice.

easy listen

Needed different narrators.
It jumps from character to character & there is no difference in her voice.
But it was a good story.

Should have had more narrators.

I've just discovered a game-changer in “Room 21” by the talented author, Jessica Huntley. This British psychological thriller is everything I crave – dark, mysterious and mystical, featuring twists that kept me thoroughly captivated, as well as a bizarre and unexpected ending I never saw coming. Huntley's writing is exceptional, crafting complex characters and deviously scheming storyline that kept me audicted. The combination of both Charlie Albers and Anna Burnett's narration is pure genius – those British dialects! Luckily, I surprisingly stumbled into “Room 21” via Audible Plus and I was immediately obsessed. We follow Kimberley, a senior housekeeper with epilepsy, who’s drawn into a web of secrets at a posh London hotel. When she's offered a dream job at a Highland retreat with a creepy caveat (don't open Room 21's door), things get seriously twisted. “Blood is thicker than water... but harder to wash off your hands.” For those who are fixated with insidious characters, suspenseful vibes, eerie settings and wicked plot twists, run (don't walk) to “Room 21.” I was ecstatic after a previous boring Audible narrative. (I should have known better. It wasn’t British.) Take my word for it and you can thank me later. Epic, indeed! Dark themes, BTW.

I enjoyed the story although some parts did not make too much sense and felt very unbelievable.
