Publisher's Summary

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back.

Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot.

She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance.

But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option.

Book Research Never Felt So Good!

This was such a fun romantic comedy narrated superbly by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton. I had watched Amy Daws' adventures unfold on social media and was super curious how this translated to the book. I was not disappointed!

Miles and Kate's story was filled with plenty of laughs, swoons, and sexy times! I'm not really a camping type of gal, but after reading that chapter, I'm ready to head to the great outdoors! ;) The secondary characters in Wait With Me were just as fun too! I loved Kate's friendship with Lynsey and Dean and we would all be so lucky to have people like them in our lives. I really enjoyed the additions to the story of actual events that Amy Daws experienced as well, especially the pizza delivery and fake invoice. Don't even get me started on the cover too! Gah! What a perfect Miles and that smirk captures the playful tone of the story perfectly!

You really couldn't have asked for better narrators for this story. Erin Mallon brought Kate to life - quirks and all. She captured the snark, vulnerability, and humor so well. Add in the amazing Teddy Hamilton and I was in narrator heaven! Both gave wonderful performances and I couldn't help falling in love with Miles and Kate. You definitely don't want to miss this one!

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

I loved this audiobook! Not only was it fun and sexy but it also had seriously great characters! Miles was perfect! He is a hard working blue collar guy with a little baggage but he was also fun and flirty and sweet. Kate too was so much fun, I love how obsessive she was about finding the perfect writing spot and how she used her Pen name as a way to let loose and be herself instead of being who she thought she should be. There were a few parts (especially the pizza delivery) that had mu giggling like crazy. I think what I loved the most about the story was how down to earth it was and how in the end it was a sexy feel good book! Amy Daws really had me from chapter one on this one.

The narration was INCREDIBLE!!!! Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton are an amazing dream narration team. They both are great at both POV and together they rocked this audiobook!!!!

Daws + Mallon + Hamilton = RomCom Genius!

Just when you think you’ve read the funniest romantic comedies there are and swooned over the best book boyfriends and BOOM! In bursts in Amy Daws with Wait With Me and takes it to another level of awesomeness!

Jesus, let’s start with Miles because, umm, it’s Miles! He’s legitimately the perfect book boyfriend. He’s a sexy mechanic with a huge heart and just the right amount of possessive alpha in him. Uh, I’ll take take two please! Then we have Kate. She’s freaking adorable. I mean, it’s hard not to love the chick. She’s a romance writer, she’s a bookish person, she’s freaking hilarious....what’s not to love? Nothing! She’s needs to be my new best friend. My favorite part of the book was Miles and Kate together. Their banter was off the charts fantastic, their chemistry undeniable, and their story kept me smiling and laughing through. Plus them sexy scenes! *le swoon* Made a girl need a damn cold drink!

How do you take an already off the charts amazing book and make it better? You add narration by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, of course! Gah! Teddy Hamilton can talk dirty to me any time, please. He was the perfect amount of sexy, alpha mechanic and swoonfully sweet guy. I wanted him to give me a tune up. *wink* Erin Mallon knocked my socks off as Kate! She had me laughing so hard the whole time and falling in love with the story all over again. 5 stars.

surprisingly good

surprisingly good. likable characters, sexy steamy love scenes, simple but good enough story, and great narrators. I usually can't tolerate first person narrative but for some reason wasn't bothered this time.

Love this story!

I follow this author on social media, and I laughed so hard at her tire shop antics in real life. I read this ebook when it first came out, and laughed out loud at the similarities. I can't tell you how funny the audiobook was! My neighbors probably think I'm crazy because of all the belly laughs this book gave me. The narrators were so perfect! Erin Mallon perfectly captured Daws's voice, with super dramatic flair. And, Teddy Hamilton totally nailed the hot mechanic in my head. I'm so happy I decided to listen to this book, even after reading it.

Loved this Hilarious, Hot, and Heartfelt Romance!

I loved everything about this fun, refreshing, and sexy romance! I was completely captivated by Kate and Miles story right from their first hilarious and awkward run-in. They're both recovering from painful breakups and aren't looking for any drama. No matter how hard they fight their attraction, they have too much fun together, and their chemistry is too explosive to stay away. I love the creative ways they invent to spend time together. I really enjoyed watching Kate discover herself as she brings out sweet Miles' sexy, inner cave man. He really made the perfect book boyfriend.
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton were the perfect Kate and Miles. Their comedic timing, and spot on inflections made me laugh, swoon, and cheer for Kate and Miles HEA. They easily bring these characters to life and allow you to get totally lost in this story.
This hilarious & heartfelt story with fascinating characters, witty banter, steamy passion and amazing narration, make this rom-com gold!

BBFs are real!!!

Oh. My. God. I loved Wait With Me when I read it and now I love it even more.
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job by bringing to life Kate (AKA Mercedes) and Miles. I loved how they translated the sexy moments, as well as the funny and the drama around the lies and secrets of Kate's. I gotta admit, this time it wasn't as stressful as the first time I read it because I knew what was going to be the outcome of their story, but I felt the little angst around all "Mercedes" lies and secrets.
There were two parts that I loved so much in the audiobook:
- The party when Miles arrived because it sounded hotter in the audiobook, even more than when I read it.
- When Mercedes tries to be all "Hey Bro" on Miles LOL So funny!!
All in all, this audiobook is a great companion for the book, with a funny, romantic and sexy story of an author who got to have her own real-life book boyfriend.
The dream of any book worm LOL

In Love!

This was my first audio book and I don’t know how I was living without this. I see the option all the time and never bothered to check it out. Today I had a one hour drive and instead of music I decided to check this out and this was THE perfect story to spend the day listening to!!

Loved the characters and story. Hooked me in so much I listened to every spare minute I had, ignored the family as o cooked and listened and later cleaned. Awesome book! New fan to this author <3

Meh

It was a romantic comedy. There were some funny parts but...a really lackluster storyline. I thought it was a little forced and not very creative. It was just okay. Would feel a little better if it was part of the romance package rather than wasting a credit on it.

This is not my first time with this author, she is a favourite of mine. It was however, the first time I have listened to narration by Teddy Hamilton...OMG! He is soooo hot as Miles! The narration was absolutely spot on by both and I f-loved having them in my ears all weekend.

TTTerrific

Amy Daws you are a legend!! Following your TTT antics on Facebook and the lead up to the book has been the highlight of my year so far and now getting to listen to it is everything. I loved this story and loved the chemistry between Kate and Miles - the author and the mechanic, it was hot hot hot. The humor was on point as always and had me chuckling alot. As always everything was on point with your audio version.

Freaking loved it so hard.

Omg I've read this book twice since it's release and I love it so much, but listening too it was so much better Erin Mellon and Teddy Hamilton were the perfect narrators. The story is so good, I love the story line and the characters. This has become one of my favourite Amy Daws books out of all her publications. I love the Sassiness of Kate/Mercedes and Miles is totally Swoon worthy, the Perfect Book Boyfriend.

Great performance by the narrators!

So for me I really loved this narrators. I enjoy dual narrators to give a double point of view. The male narrator probably is what breathed some life into our hero. Unfortunately I didn't love the story as much. Our heroine is really fun and has a range of emotions, while the hero is like a wall. He's there, but I'm unsure if he was really all that lovable or useful lol.

It was ok, but lacked a spark

This was an ok listen, but quite forgettable. The heroine was decent and the character developed, but the hero was more of a cardboard cutout of a story character with no real soul. If you take away his good looks there didn’t seem to be anything about him that would attract the heroine. No real personality traits, other than being possessive, and into ‘manly’ activities. The story maturity seemed more like a college romance.

I think the author could do with basing the hero on someone she knows in real life to make it more real instead of a fuzzy character with a fantasy tick list of ‘ideal man’.

5 Complimentary Coffee Stars

Kate Smith (aka Mercedes Lee Loveletter is an Erotic Romance writer and unfortunately has got a touch of writers block, well I say a touch, but nothing has popped into her head for ages and she needs to get the final installment with her International best selling Bed & Beakfast series out on the shelves ASAP.

She finds her Nirvana one day when she pops into the Tire Depot to get some work done on her car.

While she is in the Customer waiting room sipping on the complimentary coffee and munching on the freshly baked cookies, she manages to get thousands of words down on a page!

After borrowing friends, and families cars to take back to the Tire Depot, Kate finds her writing mojo again….the thing is she runs out of cars to take in!

What’s a girl to do, apart from sneak into the employees entrance and pretend to be waiting!

As ninja like as Kate thinks she is, she isn’t! And it doesn’t take long for her to be spotted by Miles, an employee at the Depot.

Miles…..sigh Miles……Book boyfriend alert!!

Miles has a little bit of baggage from a failed relationship and isn’t looking for anything serious.

Kate has recently split from her ex who is currently still residing at the house in the basement refusing to leave, hence the writers block and the bad Joojoo.

After some hilarious near misses at the Tire Depot ( The pizza delivery had me howling with laughter) Miles and “Mercedes” start a friends with benefits relationship, all for book research obviously!

The witty one-liners and even the secondary characters in this book were just perfect, I loved every second of listening to this book.

Narration what can I say about the narration?

Well let’s just say it was hot, I mean steaming hot!!

You have the gorgeous honey-like tones of Teddy Hamilton (who can come and whisper in my ear ANY day of the week!) mixed with the sexy gorgeous voice of Erin Mallon, what’s not to love?

Brilliant

So anyone who is a fan of Amy Daws has been following her ’Tires Tires Tires’ adventures via her social media. Amy is one of the loveliest and funniest authors out there and when she announced there would a novel based on a tire shop her fans went crazy!

I was so excited when I got my hands on Wait With Me. The fun and sexy story of Kate and Miles was brilliant. I loved Kates characters! She reminded me so much of Amy herself in personality, and Miles was such a sweetheart.

This book was funny, heartwarming and sexy! I'm actually sad that this is a standalone and that we won't see more of these characters. I would have loved to see more of Lynsey and Dean and to see how their stories would have ended up.

I have listened to all of Amy's audio books and she always has the best narrators! I also love the dual narration. This is easy to listen to, a great story with believable narration. I can't recommend this audiobook enough!

Not a fan!

I expected a lot with this book so I was disappointed when it didn’t live up to all the hype it was given. I enjoyed the narration but the story was lacking. I kept waiting for it to get better thinking that maybe it was just slow to get going but it never did.
