Baltic is back!

I have been a faithful Katie Macalister fan from day 1.... Before I joined Audible-I READ every series she has out and in doing so, my mind had created it's own opinion of all the character's voices, traits, etc... So, when I purchased and began listening to the Audible versions- narrated by Barbara Rosenblat, I admit I was a bit worried it wouldn't do them justice.... Her voice is very distinct- BUT... Oh, how I was SOOOO wrong!!!! Barbara's unique vocal ranges and absolutely superb variations on the characters accents BLEW ME AWAY!!! There really is no other narrator who could pull it off so flawlessly! Bravo Katie, and BRAVO Barbara!!!!

Lots of humor and yet suspenseful

Very good plot and I didn’t expect a lot of the surprises. I thought Pavel might have been the villain but I wasn’t on the right track. I actually laughed out loud and was surprised by it.

the light dragons

I enjoyed this one. In some of her books I felt like they ended like a TV series season's cliff hanger. There are still loose ends here that leave room for a last book book. As always the narrator Barbara Rosenblat did a great job with her voices. Her whole series is a great light hearted story that makes me laugh.

I hate when the daily deal is book 2 of a series!

Would you try another book from Katie MacAlister and/or Barbara Rosenblat?

I do like fantasy books, but I didn't love this narrator. Her voice, inflection and characters all sounded like something from Everyone Loves Raymond. (I don't love Raymond, or his family.) Overall, her performance and voice make no sense when paired with the content of the book. She's got a New York accent... it's a fantasy novel! It makes no sense.

And because this is book two of a series, I felt totally lost when I started listening! Totally disappointing. Hopefully I only paid a couple bucks.

the asling grey started it out,then went on to silver dragon,then the light. it was a great series...

even tho it was of the paranormal romance, it made me laugh alot so a lot of comedy was thrown in.....
