Very good series start
I really liked the check in with prior couple from the entire series. The spooky introduction to dragon hunters was done very well. Bringing in the difficulty in making dragon/demon crosses was fascinating. How are they going to get Jim back to “normal”?

Not a fan of the narrator
The story line is good, the narrator is ok. I'm sure she's not bad, but after listening to the other Dragon sept books narrated by Barbara Rosenblatt there's no comparison.

this is the 7th book I've listen to by Katie McCallister and I love her stories and style. However, I'm convinced that this monotonous, monotone voice reading it is AI. The reading is horrible and it's scratchy high pitched voice is untolerable. I hope I can get a refund as I could barley make it through chapter one
