Publisher's Summary

Two weeks after joining Keystone, Raven Black is ready to take on the world as a criminal hunter for hire. If only her partner wasn't a bloodsucking Vampire with a penchant for getting under her skin. Despite her lavish surroundings, Raven misses the freedom of life without rules. And Keystone's next assignment is about to test her self-control in more ways than one. Dead bodies are popping up in the human district, and all signs point to a Breed serial killer. In order to catch him, Raven and Christian embark on a mission that takes their partnership into uncharted waters. Lives are at stake. Can Raven trust her instincts, or will she fall into a web spun from lies and deceit?

    "Odd but good"

In this second book the ather makes raven fall in love with every other guy she meets....
Still there is much imaginason in the world that was woven around the story, which I find is crucial to a good book.

    "5/5-great series--a MUST READ"

Dannika Dark Bk 1-Keystone- was a great start to a new series--It totally set character, plot, time, and place. It was a start to the whole new world and how it worked.

Bk 2- Ravenheart---What a continuation. The same character but now you know them and see the comradely grow. I don't want to spoil this adventure/ murder/ paranormal diamond amongst the books you can buy. More action in this story--more understandings--more fun--and yes more questions to be answered. The perfect series that leads you into the next book.

I was impressed with the narration of Nicole Poole. Her ability at voices and accents enhance this complex story with many individual characters that intertwine to make Keystone work.

Comment to authror-Dannika Dark---I can't wait to see what comes of John in future novels.

"Worthy of a credit for a Dannika Dark fan"

Dannika Dark has two previous series, both of which are a part of the paranormal world she has built and are excellent. This is the second book of the Crossbreed series, which is a spinoff of her Mageri series. I enjoyed this particular book because of my familiarity and longtime loyalty to the three series.

However, I was disappointed because the mystery in the story was so obvious and easily solved, and it took her very bright characters far too long to come to the same conclusion. The development of the relationships in the book are also moving at an arctic pace. I'm hoping the next book picks up a little bit because the world and the characters are there and waiting to run in the authors next story.

The narrator is always outstanding !

"The wait for Book 3 will be torture!"
    Any additional comments?

I'm really loving this series, and its characters. Of course, I have loved Christian since being introduced to him in the Mageri series (in fact, he may have been my all-time favorite from that series), but I really like Raven, too. I am also growing fond of the other Keystone members, too, though some could certainly stand to be further developed, as they are just a few shades beyond being two-dimensional. Overall, though, they are a fun bunch, whom I can't wait to continue getting to know!

Loved it!! Great read! Loved the storyline.. Some weird looks from my laughter on several occasions. And lost a few tears in chapter 25. On to book #3.

    "More humorous than the first"

This second book was even more humorous than the first. I laughed out loud quite a number of times. Bar scene, that’s all I’ll say. I really like how the characters are developing - particularly Raven and Christian.

Once again the narrator did an excellent job.

"This series has really got me in."

Crossbreed number 2 is even better than 1, I stayed up till gone midnight listening to it and as soon as I got up I kept going until the end, roll on number 3.
The Narrator is great at what she does and I could listen to that dark chocolate voice for ever! It is going to be a great series and I am getting every one of them as soon as they come out.
So spend your credits with the certainty that you are getting a great author, a great story and narrator combination and hours of good listening.

    "Great action and good laughs!"

I LOVE the dynamic between Raven and Christian and this book was so much fun! A great, dramatic chase for a serial killer while the bonding between all of the characters is witty and comical! My favorite -No spoilers -just listen for bars and hats! I like all of the characters, their skills so different, their backgrounds varied and I enjoy learning a little more about each character in small doses. It makes me want to know more. Dannika does a great job building the characters slowly through a wide variety of interactions between themselves and between the Keystone group and outsiders. This is a great series! I enjoyed the "Seven" series, but something about the characters never quite rang true -they didn't feel like real people. I can relate to every character in this series thus far and it's only the second book! Keep them coming!

"Awesome - loved reading every word!"

The second instalment and even more enjoyable if at all possible. Can't wait to see how the next book teases us with Christian and Raven fumbling into caring and love?
