Publisher's summary

Caden Fournier has everything: Money, fame, and an international business that's skyrocketing. But the one thing he really wants, money can't buy: Love. When fate puts him in the path of a speeding semi, Caden meets handsome paramedic Kellan Brady. Kellan Brady has been waiting for his mate for as long as he can remember. Always wanting the fairytale of true love, he ends up instead with an injured and angry Frenchman pinned in his BMW. If they can get past their rocky start, can the two men build a relationship when both are hiding a secret?

I hope the Audios will continue to be release

I am in love with this series and was wondering why the audios suddenly stopped being release. After doing a bit of research I found out that sadly the author suddenly died not too long after this one was released in audio form. I really hope that they continue to release the other books in audio form in her memory, I think she had written over 20 for this series. Please keep it going.

Least Liked in the Series

Would you try another book from Sandrine Gasq-Dion and/or Greg Boudreaux?

I will probably finish the series as I'm already so far in. However, if there more issues in the next book like there were in this one, that will likely change.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

**SPOILERS**

1. There is a transphobic joke said once and mimicked back. It completely threw me. There was no point for it and it was disgusting. Both Caden and Kellan have secrets. Near the beginning of their relationship, after having sex, Caden says "There's something I need to tell you" and Kellan says "Did you used to be a woman?" Caden laughs and says "no", to which Kellan responds with "Then I don't care".

This has no purpose to the story, and implies that if Caden was a trans man, then Kellan would have an issue. Even though they just had sex, he had no issue with anything, and apparently the "mate gods" have deemed these two men a match and going against your mating pull seems to destroy you.

It was a disgusting attempt at humour and I am incredibly disappointed in Sandrine. If it was supposed to be a joke it could have been anything. "Are you really a one eyes, one horned, flying purple people eater?", "Do you eat thousand year old eggs for breakfast?", "Do you collect Faberge eggs?" Literally anything would have fit just as well and yet we get a gross, transphobic joke. When writing in the LGBTQI+ genre you don't make jokes at the expense of part of that group!

2. There is a pointless threat. It is revealed to Caden that Kellan is a wolf and is threatened that unless Caden leaves Kellan, Kellan will be exposed by Carson. Apparently Carson is pissed that Caden said no to his company for building projects so obviously breaking him up with his boyfriend is perfect revenge. Carson doesn't say anything else really. No "don't talk to anyone" or anything. Just a basic "if you don't do what I say I'm giving this to the media".

Caden is supposedly an incredibly savvy business man. However, he doesn't question why Carson is so cool and calm about people turning into wolves. This guy in an architect, not a US secret agent. Caden knows both of Carson's sons through work, and he knows that one of their husbands has known Kellan for years. Does he talk to Carson's sons, even vaguely, about the issue? No. Does he go to... whichever brother knows Kellan and ask "hey, you've known Kellan for years and years. Is there anything about him that might be a problem if it was released to the media?" No. Of course he doesn't. He doesn't look into it at all. He just picks up and leaves for France. And based on how insanely readily they open up about the "we're wolves!" it makes even less sense why the discussion wasn't had right away.

If Sandrine wanted to actually play with the conflict of the media getting wind of werewolves she already had Kellan dating a millionaire and had paparazzi in the story. She had every opportunity to utilize them as a conflict. Instead there is no point to this threat, other than apparently to get all the wolves addicted to French pastries. It was more like "I need a reason for Caden to go back to France" and just threw in this half-baked plan that amounted to nothing. Caden has plenty of internal drama that could have chased him back home without needing to use Carson as some really sad "villain". It made Caden seem like he had zero reasoning skills and made the whole conclusion nothing but a big eye roll.

What about Greg Boudreaux’s performance did you like?

I always like what Greg does. I think he did the best be could with a lesser quality story.

Do you think For the Love of Caden needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. But it's part of a series that follows different couples around anyway so in a way it already does have follow-ups.

Awesome Series

Loved it as much the second time around as I did the first. The only thing I wished is that they would have communicated with each other. The whole Carson thing & the big secret that Caden was keeping from Kellan. As always Greg B/T did an amazing job!

Review of book Six

I loved book six as I did all the rest of the assassin series. It has been interesting to see how the gypsy’s prediction unfolded and each assassin’s life unfold after meeting the love of their lives! I have most of the books in my collection now, and I read them over and over!

really just rename it Bella and Edward part 2

this is probably one of the corniest and cheesy MM romances I have ever read..I actually didn't finish it and requested my money back. The storyline and the POV shift entirely too much for this book. I was almost too unbelievable I was really waiting for like the Cullen Clan just to show up. I will not buy anything else from his author.
