Publisher's Summary

When PhD student and Pink Bean barista Josephine Greenwood meets her feminist idol, Caitlin James, she's starstruck. But when Caitlin starts showing a more than friendly interest in her, Josephine can't believe Caitlin's advances are genuine.

Her issues with her own body and how people see her threaten to cut off any prospect of romance before it has the chance to blossom. Will Caitlin be able to break down the walls Josephine has built around herself and open her mind to the possibility of romantic happiness?

    "I just couldnt truly connect."

Let me start out by saying that I'm vested in the series and have read the previous 2 books and will continue with the next series books. With that being said, this book just didnt give me the same feel as the last two. While the writing and narration were equally good, I just couldn't connect with the characters and main subject material. I think the subject of body image is a great discussion piece especially in this day and age. I just felt like this was ALL that was really discussed in the book. The main character struggled quite a bit through the entire book and eventually overcame alot of her issues but I was basically like "blah" the entire way through. Her issues overshadowed everything in the book from the love plot extending through all the secondary characters and story lines. It was a challenge for me to get through. Nonetheless, it was well written and the narration was good though. The book just didnt do it for me.
