Tamsin Foxley is determined to keep matters of the heart separated from her new teaching job at the Royal Tynebury Golf Club after a disastrous romantic experience put an end to her previous employment. She has also vowed to no longer fall for women almost half her age.

When the new season starts at the golf club, Diane and Tamsin become fast friends. Their feelings for each other quickly go in an unexpected direction and they both have to reevaluate what it is they want from life. Can Diane overcome her fear of falling for a woman? And can Tamsin accept her taste in women may have changed?

Good story off putting performance

While I enjoyed reading the story the speaker is not pleasant. Her syncopation was very off putting the stops and breaks make me feel like a bad virtual narrator. Again good book bad narrator. I will say the accent was really sexy though.

Good read .. the issues were real . The Chemistry was definitely there between 2 main characters. Wished the love scenes were more in depth and not just a “ fade to black” . That was disappointing because the build up was good. Overall it was good.

My new favorite narrator.
Similar to SEASON OF LOVE also a great midlife coming out without the detail sexual scenes.
Very much enjoyed this book listened to it straight through.

Worth a shot.

Solid ending to a simple story. Had no issues with it. Not much to say, it's fairly to the point and well written. It also doesn't focus on the sexual aspect of forming a new relationship.

Good story/ No love scene/AMAZING NARRATOR

I was so happy to see a Harper Bliss book with Carmen Rose as the narrator (Seasons of Love is one of my all time favorites) but I think this story needed a love scene and I found it a little dull and draggy without it. The story was still ok overall.

Carmen Rose is such a treat!

Was excited to see this book show up, Harper Bliss paired Carmen Rose seems like a sure thing!
Season of Love is probably one of my all time favorites. And this book has a lot of similarities, though admittedly it's a bit more tame on the sexy side, than the former.
Still, I enjoyed this one immensely, Carmen Rose is just the best narrator.

Familiar Story

Loved this story. It was so similar to my own adnd both have happy endings.
The narration could have been better.

Age doesn't matter

They lesbian and then latebian are falling for each other. There is 14 yrs of age difference, but should that ever matter?

I felt like this book was more a reading than a narration. I didn’t mind the accent of the narrator but felt it was being read too fast. I slowed it down a bit and story was more enjoyable.

I enjoyed the story line

Great story but the narrative was terrible.
Sounded like a virtual voice. Definitely won’t be listening to anymore of her narrating.
