I want and need more!!!!

When I first got this book I didn't realize it was # 2 in a series and I hadn't listened to the 1st book. It didn't matter, I wasn't lost, I was intrigued! I loved it! it was HOT!!!! but more than just ear candy, great story, great character development. I want more detail and plan on picking up all the books in the series.

I don't understand the name change Christian to Christopher. but it didn't change the intense story line

One of the best series I have listened to.

Calloway and Rome are back but this time trouble takes a hold of them. Their relationship is shaken by skeletons they both are hiding. This is one intense story. I know I screamed No very loudly a few times as the story unfolded. It can take your breath away and make you so angry you want to kick something. Victoria Quinn really can capture your heart and emotions as you struggle right along with the couple.

The narration was impeccable. Lia Langola truly captures Rome and all of her emotions. She helps the reader ride the emotional roller coaster Rome is on right along with Rome. Her voice is exactly how I imagined Rome to sound. Michael Ferraiuolo is the perfect Calloway. His voice melts your heart as Calloway struggles with his skeletons. How either one of these narrators read this book calmly and unshaken is amazing. There is so much emotion in this book, I know I would not be able to keep a steady voice.

Fantastic

This series really did it for me! It’s been hard for me to find books in this category that are not only smoking hot but actually have a good story and decent character development so I was really excited to have found this series. I don’t understand why so many don’t like Michael Ferraiuolo because I love his voice!! It’s super sexy 🔥I highly recommended

Another book im hooked on listening too!

I love Michael's voice and im a huge Lia Longola fan so anything they narrate is an automatic re-listen for me. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

This book is amazing. Ms. Quinn has the ability to make you feel the passion and pain of the characters. You live and die with them.

What does Michael Ferraiuolo and Lia Langola bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Perfect narrators M Ferraiuolo and Lia langola delivering their lines.

Another cliffy

The cliffhanger isn't bad but I can't wait for the next book. This series is sexy and interesting, exciting and fun.

Michael really stepped it up for this one. His voice was gruffer when it needed to be and softer when the timing was right for that. Lia Langola was perfect.

Love this

Can’t say enough good things about this book! This is book 2. And I can’t wait for 3. Love this series Cal, and Rome are just fantastic. I love this story. The love and the struggle of power. The past hurts they have both been through. Can’t wait for the rest of their story. And Michael and Lia do a fantastic job with the narration.

Things are getting complicated!

Will he or won’t he leave the life? That’s the million dollar question. I believe Cal loves Rome enough to be happy with her all the way around but he’s got that nagging voice in his head and his brother on his back telling him otherwise. I don’t understand how this woman keeps getting attached and Hank hasn’t been dealt with. Frustrating! Jumping into book 3 to hopefully get some answers…
