Reader not good

Good book but hard to listen to. The Scottish ‘accent’ is horrible. She does okay with the English accents, male and female but the Scotts makes me cringe. Might be better to read the book.

How can you NOT pronounce sassenach?!!!

It’s a book about Highlanders! The word sassenach appears like 50 times! Have you ever met a Scot? Have you ever listened to a book in this genre?!! It was so infuriating!

DID NOT LIKE THIS BOOK AT ALL

Once again a so-so story has been totally destroyed by a poor narrator. This was just not for me at all.

Great story with a fantastic reader!

I really enjoyed the interactions of the characters. The reader really brought it alive. Though I think sassanah was pronounced wrong but it was still wonderful.
