Publisher's Summary

Alpha Sylvan Mir‘s efforts to achieve sovereignty for the Weres, Vampires, and other non-humans is made even more difficult when a neighboring wolf Were Pack petitions Sylvan for aid. Someone, or some thing, is raiding the territory of the Snow Crest wolf Weres along the Canadian border. While newly ascended Snow Crest Alpha Zora Constantine, along with the Ash, the captain of her guard, await the decision of Sylvan's war council, inter-Pack tensions rise. Especially when Ash and Sylvan's centuri Jace develop an unexpected and unwanted primal attraction.

Are the raids just an attempt to secure more territory by rogue Weres? Or is it all a ruse to bring Sylvan and her mate Drake out into the open where they are vulnerable to enemy attacks? When Sylvan and Drake's war party heads north to hunt the rogue raiders, Ash and Jace must decide between duty and the call of their deepest desires.

AWFUL READER

She reads TOO fast to engage you, her voices are awful, and she sounds like a robot.

Maxine Mitchell should have read it like the other 6 books. She ruined this book!

Maxine Come Home

I usually love the Hunt series but I couldn’t get past the new narrator. She did not have the ability to be tough and sensitive. I have tried to listen to this narrator 4 times and I never make it to the second chapter. Oh well I guess I have to buy the book. Please
bring Maxine back for this series.

a little flat

I have been waiting for awhile for book 7, I knew it would not be the same with a different Narrator and I was correct.
if it could be re narrated by Maxine waters am sure it would a different story.

Another wolf triumph.

This was too short, but otherwise enjoyable. As for the narrator complaints. After 1 minute of the speed reading, I set the playback to 85% and it became satisfactory.

narrator not all that good.

I missed the other narration of Maxine mitchell. to go 5 or 6 books with one narrator and then switch was frustrating. it didn't flow well. over all I liked the story, it did kinda just stop however.

More!

Wished it was as long as the others in the series. I always enjoyed how all the characters lives and up intertwined with one another.

Great story

I really enjoyed the story, however having a completely different person reading this book from the others in the series kind of ruined it. She did not read with the same enthusiasm and emotion as the narrator from the original 6 books so it took away from the story and the characters. All in all it was a great story.

Bad narrator should not have changed old Narrator

Narrator was terrible. I have the other 6 books in this series on audio and the Narrator was outstanding. Please do no use the Narrator from book 7 in the next book. Please go back to the old Narrator. Don't change a good thing. Also do not like the art work it is not a match for the series.

Great story, can’t stand the narrator

It’s too bad they weren’t able to get the previous narrators to do this book. The girl who is reading this one doesn’t have the range to pull off these characters. There are also several awkward pauses and obvious edits. It’s too bad as the others were great.

I love this series but this book was just far too short! Hopefully we won’t wait so long for the next one!!!
